- Friday, May 21 The professional association of design (AIGA) will host Design to the Rescue: Moving the masses one design at a time at Discovery World Pier Wisconsin, 500 N. Harbor Drive from 6 to 10 p.m. Michael Lejeune, creative director for the in-house agency of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority will be the guest attendee at the event. The event will focus on how Lejeune and his team were able to change the way people thought about mass transit possibilities through design. All attendees are eligible for a variety of door prizes.
