*Thursday, July 16, East Town Association will hold another “Jazz in the Park” concert with a double feature. The free outdoor music series, presented by Boston Store and Columbia St. Mary’s, brings live jazz to Cathedral Square in downtown Milwaukee. Concerts are held each Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. with a happy hour scheduled for 5 p.m. The next show will showcase the music of Streetlife featuring Warren Wiegratz and No BS! *Friday, July 17, through Sunday, July 19, the Milwaukee Brewers will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in home games at Miller Park, located at 1 Brewers Way in Milwaukee. *Tuesday, July 21, “Chill on the Hill” will feature live music performed by The Vitrolum Republic and Grasping at Straws. “Chill on the Hill” is a free weekly music series that brings live music acts to Humboldt Park in Bay View each Tuesday evening. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. The summer series, presented by the Bay View Neighborhood Association, runs through Tuesday, Sept. 1. *Thursday, July 23, the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce will facilitate a “Business After 5” networking event at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield. The event, part of a chamber series, will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost for members is $10 with preregistration and $15 at the door. Cost for first-time attendees is $15. *Thursday, July 23, the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation will hold a class on “MBA Marketing: Building Your Business Brand.” The course is part of a three-session marketing workshop series that equips business owners with tools and strategies for branding, social media, web design and more. Individuals can take one class for $15 or complete the series for $40. The July 23 workshop will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at WWBIC Racine, located at 245 Main Street in Racine. *Friday, July 24, the Waukesha County Business Alliance will hold a “One-on-One with Public Officials” conversation. The event, which belongs to a monthly series, will give attendees an opportunity to talk to Matt Moroney, senior advisor, office of Gov. Scott Walker. The event is free to attend and will run from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the Jannsen Conference Room of the Waukesha County Business Alliance, 2717 N. Grandview Boulevard, Suite 300, in Waukesha. *Wednesday, July 29, FUEL Milwaukee will hold a “Purely Social” event at Plum Lounge. The event, part of a monthly networking series, will feature an opportunity for business professionals to connect over complimentary appetizers and drink specials.
