What does your daily or weekly fitness regime consist of?
"3 nights of league basketball, with practice on Saturdays. The days I do not have basketball I work out for 20 minutes when I get home from work. A short 5-10 minute work out before each work day."
Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?
"When I am in really good shape I do not need as much sleep. Being in shape keeps me mentally alert. My weight has not gone up or down more then 5 pounds since high school, buying clothes is easy!"
How does personal fitness affect your work life?
"The better shape I am, the more alert I am. I am less tired during the day and can get more done."
Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?
How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?
"I think if people are in shape or have a regular work out routine they will be sharper during the course of the day.(A sharp employee equals a better return). The Company’s insurance rates should be less than average."
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
"It is never too late to start, It may take up a lot of time but the benefits far out weigh the effort."
