Milwaukee private investment firm Brass Ring Capital recently completed two recapitalizations.
The firm announced the recent recapitalization of Eden Valley, Minn.-based RIE Coatings, which formulates and applies thin-film coatings to fasteners and components used by manufacturers in a variety of non-automotive markets. The coatings work to improve performance of the parts. RIE will use the influx of cash to fund its growth, which is driven by the increased market penetration of engineered coatings.
Brass Ring also assisted Tomball, Texas-based DPIS Engineering with a recapitalization. DPIS offers engineering and inspection services for residential builders. The additional capital will allow DPIS to expand its reach to other markets and customers.
