Bob Kraft, the chief executive officer and chairman of Milwaukee-based FirstPathway Partners, has been appointed to the board of the U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce, the company announced today. The USCCC is a bi-national, non-profit syndicate devoted to the expansion of U.S.-China trade and investment. Kraft is also president of Invest in the USA. “His leadership, extensive network, and passion for China and Asia as a whole, are invaluable assets for USCCC to serve and bring the community together to prosper in the new decade,” said USCCC board member, Siva Yam. “It is my honor, on behalf of the whole organization of the USCCC to welcome Mr. Kraft to our board.” FirstPathway Partners helps foreign investors become United States citizens through the Department of Homeland Security Immigrant Investor (EB-5) program. EB-5 provides a method for eligible immigrant investors to become lawful permanent residents (“green card” holders) of the U.S., by investing at least $900,000 to finance a business in the U.S. that will employ at least 10 American workers.
