BizTimes Around Town: Milwaukee Press Club Newsmaker Luncheon

The Milwaukee Press Club’s most recent Newsmaker Luncheon welcomed Reed Hall, secretary and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), to Milwaukee to discuss steps he is taking to reform the WEDC. Hall was officially appointed CEO of the WEDC by Gov. Scott Walker in January. During the July 17 Newsmaker Luncheon he addressed questions posed by a panel of journalists, elaborating on his recent salary hike and his plans to draw more business to the state among other topics. The Newsmaker Luncheon was held at the Newsroom Pub in downtown Milwaukee and was open to the public. Check out today’s BizTimes Around Town.
