Renovations Group, which is a full-service design-build, remodeling and new home construction company, earned the designation in customer service. Companies awarded for customer service were selected through a variety of factors, including the number and quality of client reviews made on Houzz in 2013. Along with other winners, Renovations Group will display a “Best of Houzz 2014” badge on its Houzz profile, signaling its commitment to excellence.

The social networking group Newaukee is taking over all programming, events and artist opportunities managed by Art Milwaukee, the organizations announced. With the new management plan, to be rolled out this year, Art Milwaukee’s name and brand will fold. The nonprofit arts advocacy organization, which emerged from Newaukee, has worked to open up new opportunities for area artists and demonstrate how critical artists are to the success of the local economy. The organization has developed over the past three and a half years. Among Art Milwaukee’s signature projects and programs, made possible through collaborations with government, foundations and other nonprofits, are Typeface and the Creational Trails Project.
