Jacobson Rost

Independent marketing and communications agency Jacobson Rost, Sheboygan, recently added the services of Chicago-based ideas incubator Super Genius LLC. The strategic partnership combines the digital content and social media knowledge provided by Super Genius partners Bill Connell and Mat Burnett together with the advertising agency’s integrated marketing communications expertise. Super Genius clients have included Nokia, Nike, Lia Sophia, Unilever, Nielsen, Johnson Publishing and Discovery Communications. Super Genius LLC partners will work alongside Jacobson Rost staffers out of the agency’s Chicago offices, contributing ideas and developing campaign strategies to grow their clients’ businesses. The partnership will allow clients of Super Genius LLC, to utilize the agency’s media planning, public relations, creative design, interactive, retail and promotional services.

Accurate Die Design Inc., New Berlin, recently announced its partnership with CAD AVSHMEIP, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. In order to better serve the needs of the Mexico market, CAD AVSHMEIP will handle the technical support and training for its Spanish speaking prospects and users of Logopress3, 3D Die Design Software. Pedro Torres and Ricardo Torres, the presidents of CAD AVSHMEIP, along with their staff of technical application engineers will now be the main provider of training and technical support for Logopress3 in Mexico.  In addition to CAD AVSHMEIP, Logopress3 is sold by numerous SolidWorks resellers in Mexico. 


The McFarland Group

Kaytee Pet Products, the leading manufacturer of wild bird and small pet foods based in Chilton, recently selected The McFarland Group, Elm Grove, ,to oversee a national public relations program promoting bird and small (companion) pet ownership during a recession. The campaign will be a countrywide satellite media tour incorporating Kaytee’s new spokesman, Marc Morrone. As a well-recognized pet expert, Morrone appears regularly on Martha Stewart’s syndicated television show and offers practical petkeeping advice as a featured columnist. In addition, The McFarland Group will also produce a series of pet ownership videos and other related projects featuring Morrone focused on teaching parents and their children the value of owning a pet and how economical it can be to care for birds and companion animals even in economically difficult times.

Metropolitan Business Association

The Metropolitan Builder’s Association recently honored Image Makers Advertising, Waukesha, with three Sales & Marketing Achievement Awards in the categories for corporate brochure, website and color print advertising. The Sales & Marketing Achievement Awards salute MBA members’ efforts in advertising, marketing and sales over the past year. Entries were judged by three sets of judges from within the building industry not affiliated with the MBA.


ProHealth Care

ProHealth Care, Waukesha, was recently selected as one of five health systems in the nation and the only one in Wisconsin to receive a 2009 VHA Leadership Award for Community Benefit Excellence in recognition of its efforts to serve community health needs. A national health care alliance, VHA Inc. serves more than 1,400 not-for-profit hospitals nationwide. ProHealth Care says its community support continues to grow and totaled more than $32 million in 2008.
