It has been a rocky year, but officials for a Beloit clinic are hopeful the future allows them to build a solid foundation to continue operations.

Community Health Systems of Wisconsin, operator of the Beloit Area Community Health Center, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March of 2014, noting a deficit of just under $1 million. Now, the health care provider for uninsured and underinsured clients is making plans to pay back all its creditors fully in a five-year period while adding services.
