Banker Wire completes addition

Organizations:

Banker Wire has completed a 50,000-square-foot addition to its Mukwonago manufacturing facility. Anderson Ashton Inc. of New Berlin was the general contractor on the project.
The addition comes after Banker Wire moved to the 20-acre 110,000-square-foot space from Muskego in 2009 to accommodate growth.
The company, which has 80 employees, manufactures wire mesh for architectural and industrial applications. About 30 of those employees were hired since 2009 and Banker Wire plans to hire another four or five people for a new wire drawing department in the larger facility, said Harrison Horan, vice president of sales and marketing at Banker Wire.
“We’ve seen steady growth for the past several years and a solid increase in the use of wire mesh products, both functionally and aesthetically,” Horan said. “The new addition will provide us with the room we need to keep growing with our customers. We also plan to bring additional wire mesh weaving capacity on line in order to keep up with customer demand and ensure on-time delivery.”
