The underground pipes for the country’s water, oil, gas and sewage systems is more than 100 years old in many areas of the country. Miles of underground infrastructure are in a state of disrepair. Waukesha-based Aries Industries, Inc., manufactures equipment critical to improving that infrastructure and the need, coupled with the company’s commitment to its employees and customers, has helped the company grow significantly over the last few years.

“Our goal is to provide perpetual value to our customers,” said Nick Kroll, president and chief executive officer of the company. “In order to grow and maintain our relationships, we strive to provide excellence.”

Aries manufactures state-of-the-art pipeline inspection equipment complete with portable, closed circuit image inspection and rehabilitation equipment as well as training for its customers.

Aries released two products, including the new Aries Wolverine Cutting System, to the market in 2013 and several others are in development, Kroll said.

The innovative new product lines have contributed to the company’s success and product development will play a significant role in the growth of the company moving forward.

Kroll expects to do around $3.5 million in sales over the next few years with the Wolverine Cutting System product alone, including $1 million in additional sales over 2013.

“Our main goal is to be able to add more value to the relationships we have with our customers,” Kroll said. “We work closely with them to understand their applications and needs so we can design equipment that will address the issues they regularly face.”

According to Kroll, Aries has a team of 15 engineers that actively work to enhance product reliability and design. The company regularly works with and surveys its existing customer base to understand what the company can do to better serve them.

“We want to be the company that’s known for offering the most cost-effective, value-added solutions to our customers,” he said. “We hope our customers see that value in the services and products we offer them.”
