Apartments planned for warehouse along Park East corridor

Impact Seven Inc. plans to convert the warehouse building at 1300 N. 4th St. in downtown Milwaukee into a 70-unit apartment building.
The four-story, 99,875-square-foot building was built in 1907 and is located just north of the Park East corridor.

The apartments will have one to two bedrooms and will range in size from 900 to 1,200 square feet.
Impact Seven said it is using federal historic preservation tax credits with the redevelopment project. The project will be developed to National Park Service historic redevelopment guidelines. Nearly all of the windows of the building have been bricked in. The windows will be opened back up and replaced or restored to match the historic windows for the building.
