Amazon will host an on-site recruitment event to hire employees for its Kenosha fulfillment center on Thursday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kenosha County Job Center, 8600 Sheridan Road in Kenosha.
The Seattle-based retailer is seeking full-time night shift fulfillment associates for the massive 1.1 million square foot fulfillment center, and will be making on-the-spot job offers at the event.
According to Amazon, “The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment.”
Among the benefits available to employees in this position are: health care beginning on the first day; a competitive hourly pay structure with opportunities for monthly bonuses; a climate-controlled facility; employee stock; shift differential; an employee discount; and casual dress.
Applicants are asked to bring a photo ID and proof of education—a high school diploma, GED or equivalent. More information is available at www.WorkatAmazonFulfillment.com.
More than 1,000 full-time employees will pick, pack and ship Amazon items to customers. Employees will team up with Amazon robotics, among other technologies, to fill customer orders. The fulfillment center also includes a second 500,000-square-foot building.
In total, 109 fulfillment centers are located nationwide, each containing millions of products.
