The 9th annual Milwaukee Air & Water Show will take place this weekend on Milwaukee’s lakefront.
This year’s show will feature tactical military jet demonstrations from an AV-8B Sea Harrier Jet, which hovers above the water, and an A-4 Skyhawk, which has a top speed of about 600 miles per hour.
The All Veterans Parachute Team and the Geico Skytypers will also be performing.

Due to federal budget sequestration, the previously scheduled U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds have cancelled their appearance at the event.
The air show is a free event, though reserved seating can be purchased. The best viewing locations are north of Veteran’s Park. It begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
