Sheboygan-area business leaders held a job fair in Ripon Wednesday in an effort to fill vacant jobs there with workers displaced by recent layoffs at Conagra Foods and Grede Foundry in Berlin.
Dane Checolinski, director of the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation, and officials with six Sheboygan County businesses coached about 50 workers facing layoffs in interviewing and resume-building skills.
