Walker plans inauguration dinner in Milwaukee

Learn more about:

Gov.-elect Scott Walker plans to begin his inauguration festivities with a formal Milwaukee celebration the night before he is sworn in.
Walker’s Inaugural Committee has sent out a save-the-date e-mail laying out plans for the festivities Jan. 2-3.
The Milwaukee celebration will be held at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee that Sunday evening.
Walker also has decided to split any excess inaugural funds between his campaign committee and the state GOP, drawing complaints from state Democrats, who pointed out that unused money from previous gubernatorial inaugurations has been sent to charities.
