Rodgers, Kohl’s donate $50,000 to MACC Fund

Aaron Rodgers and Kohl’s Department Stores teamed up to donate $50,000 to the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc. (MACC) Fund Tuesday in Green Bay.

The donation was part of the Aaron Rodgers 12 Days of Christmas program, a fundraising initiative in which Kohl’s Department Stores throughout Milwaukee donated 5 percent of all toy purchases made between Dec. 1 and Dec. 12 to the MACC cause.

“I am humbled and honored to be part of this meaningful program,” Rodgers said. “The money we are donating to the MACC Fund will go far in supporting cutting-edge research and raising the awareness needed to fight childhood cancer and blood disorders.”

The fundraising effort, tied to Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers Jersey number, was established by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The MACC Fund has supported childhood cancer and related blood disorder research with more than $45 million over the past 36 years.
