United Way of Greater Milwaukee announces new board directors

United Way of Greater Milwaukee has announced its 2013-2014 Board of Directors.

 

New members who will serve three-year terms include Brad Chapin, executive vice president, BMO Harris Bank; Cathy Jacobson, president and chief executive officer, Froedtert Health, Inc.; Greg Marcus, president and chief executive officer, The Marcus Corporation; and Paul Schmitz, chief executive officer, Public Allies.
 
New members who will serve for a year include Sandra Botcher, vice president, disability income, Northwestern Mutual and Jamie Delgadillo, financial representative, Northwestern Mutual;

“We’ve recruited some outstanding candidates this year,” said Mary Lou Young, president and chief executive officer of United Way of Greater Milwaukee. “Our 2013 Board of Directors is committed to ensuring that the money raised by United Way is only invested in local programs that produce significant and measurable results in the areas of education, income and health.”

Incumbent members who will serve another three years include Tom Cardella, president and chief executive officer, Tenth and Blake Beer Company, MillerCoors; Jackie Herd-Barber, community volunteer; Paul Sweeney, partner, PS Capital Partners, LLC; Peggy Troy, president and chief executive officer, Children’s Hospital & Health System; and Scott Wrobbel, managing partner, Deloitte LLP.

Co-chairs who will manage United Way of Greater Milwaukee’s 2013 Community Campaign are Linda Benfield, Milwaukee office managing partner, Foley & Lardner LLP; Brad Chapin, executive vice president, BMO Harris Bank; and Greg Oberland, executive vice president of products, sales and marketing, Northwestern Mutual.

All members were announced at the organization’s annual meeting on Tuesday at the U.S. Bank Building.
