What has fueled your company’s growth?
“Continued training of our very experienced staff and hiring additional staff with industry experience while avoiding turnover of our own. Staying close to our existing customers and bringing in new customers on a weekly basis.”
What has been the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth?
“Increased taxes and government regulation would certainly not help our growth. Even though we still have a high unemployment rate we still have a shortage of good skilled and technical workers.”
Do you have any planned changes for your company in the coming months?
“Yes, while we continue to recruit employees with industry experience we are also hiring great people without industry experience to get another perspective and increase the territory served by WFA.”
Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? What traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them?
“I have always admired Warren Buffett for his analytical abilities and his continued desire to keep learning. He is not afraid to admit to a mistake and learn from it and tell it like it is. He is also a very generous man and a great humanitarian.”
What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months?
“On a short-term basis, our business will continue to be good because more companies are hiring on a temp to permanent basis due to the uncertain future of the economy. We expect the direct hire business to strongly improve when the economic recovery is certain.”
What has been your company’s key strategy for rising out of the recession?
“I feel that we have assembled an “All Star Team” at WFA and by growing and maintaining this team and their relationships with our customers our recovery from the recession will continue and grow with the economy.”
