Use Pulse to be your own public relations expert on LinkedIn

Organizations:

Who better knows your business than you or someone internally that understands the ins and outs of your business?

LinkedIn has made it much easier to spread the word about news and events related to your organization by using Pulse, a newsfeed for articles within your network.

By publishing a post on Pulse, it can be seen by the connections you have made on LinkedIn. The beauty of using Pulse is your article can also be easily shared to your connections’ contacts, helping multiply your reach on LinkedIn.

Let’s take a look at Pulse:
By taking a press release that was sent to local news sources, this document was repurposed with graphics and posted to Pulse. This post was seen by 115 people and received three likes. To the right of those stats, you will see social media share buttons, so this article can be easily shared with others. When an article is created, it will post in the live stream of your LinkedIn connections, to be seen by those online at the moment. You will also see your articles on your personal pages under “Posts.”
You will find “write a new post” and “view stats” buttons to make the job easily accessible for when you are in the writing spirit or want to review results. The use of graphics or photos will help attract attention to your article.
By creating a press release calendar and posting something fresh each month, you can keep your company and brand in the pulse of the business community.
