United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County names 2020 campaign co-chairs

United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County has named four Milwaukee-area leaders to head up the organization’s 2020 community campaign.

Co-chairs include: former Molson Coors executive Kelly Grebe; Austin Ramirez, chief executive officer of Husco International; Dr. John Raymond, president and CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin; and Judson Snyder, president of BMO Harris Equipment Finance Company and BMO senior executive for Southeast Wisconsin.

The co-chairs were announced Thursday at United Way’s annual meeting at the U.S. Bank building.

United Way’s 2019 campaign brought in more than $56 million to support the organization’s 220 programs and more than 110 partner agencies.

“Once again this year we are honored to have an incredible group of individuals leading our annual campaign,” said Amy Lindner, president and CEO of United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County. “We are so grateful that they are enthusiastically volunteering their time for our community.”

Linda Benfield

United Way also announced Linda Benfield, managing partner of Foley & Lardner LLP’s Milwaukee office as its new board chair. She succeeds Cory Nettles, managing director and partner at Generation Growth Capital, Inc.

“We are thrilled to have Linda as our newly appointed board chair,” Lindner said. “She has had a long-standing commitment to United Way, and we have seen firsthand how deeply she cares about our community. We know she will be an exceptional Board Chair. We also want to send special thanks and congratulations to Cory Nettles for his outstanding work as our board chair these past two years.”
