Jenny Trick has been named the new executive director of the Racine County Economic Development Corp., effective immediately.
Trick has worked at the RCEDC for 22 years, most recently as deputy director and business development division manager. She was responsible for recruiting and retaining businesses.
“Jenny is the right person for the job,” said Tom Shinners, past president, who led the search committee. “Her experience in Racine County is extensive and she is a valuable asset to public and private sectors.”
Trick succeeds Gordy Kacala, who announced his retirement in November 2013 after 24 years as executive director of the organization.
“Jenny is a dynamic leader and understands what is needed to grow our local economies,” said Bryan Albrecht, president of RCEDC.
The RCEDC leads economic development in Racine County by providing business, community and workforce development services.
