Tollefsen Steel, a steel service center, will relocate its operations from Menomonee Falls to an 18,000-square-foot industrial building in Muskego at S82 W18664 Gemini Dr.
Tollefsen Steel plans to expand its business operations at the new location, which is an expandable crane building on three acres.
Tollefsen is currently leasing 9,000 square feet of a 12,000-square-foot building at N56 W13712 Silver Spring Drive in Menomonee Falls. The owner of the Menomonee Falls building received an unsolicited offer for the expansion of the neighboring company, Herker Industries. As a result, Tollefsen was asked to move, said Adam Matson of NAI/MLG Commercial, who represented Tollefsen in the deal.
Tollefsen purchased the Muskego building for $712,500. The building formerly housed Ludman Industries, which moved to new 100,000-square-foot facility in Milwaukee about a month ago.
Owner Chris Tollefsen plans to add two to three jobs over the next two months. The company currently has 10 employees. The company, which distributes steel and manufactures small parts, is expanding due to an uptick in business, Tollefsen said.
“We have to stock more material,” he said.
