With two days to left before the first pairings tee off at the 2012 Ryder Cup, many hopeful fans beg, borrow and steal to get into the Medinah grounds through corporate hospitality, volunteering or the classic, “I’ve got a guy” technique.
For those taking the more honorable route of paying for an actual ticket (re-sold, of course), it’s gonna cost ya.
The average resale ticket price for an all-week pass to the Ryder Cup is $908, according to online ticket aggregator SeatGeek, which tracks ticket prices across the largest secondary ticket websites.
That’s nearly double their face value of $480, which means the PGA undershot market value by quite a bit.
