Why were you promoted?
“I’ve been an employee here for two-and-a-half years and during that time I’ve worked really hard to put new marketing ideas and processes in place. A new website, we launched social media, we implemented a CRM system, I was part of a MasterCard conversion team, we’ve done a bunch of grand openings. I think management sees me as a hardworking individual who is willing to go above and beyond.”
What do you wish people knew about your position?
“I think a lot of people think I’m a banker. They ask me a lot of questions about opening a checking account. Whether you’re a marketing person for a bank or a school or whatever, it’s all very similar.”
