Seminar to focus on new media strategies for nonprofits

BizTimes invites executives from southeastern Wisconsin’s nonprofit organizations to attend a seminar focusing on new networking, marketing and social media strategies for nonprofits.
The seminar will be held  Wednesday, May 11 at the  BizTech Conference & Expo. The event is free to attend for people who pre-register to by clicking here.

The seminar will feature a panel discussion with area nonprofit executives and public relations professionals who have successfully utilized new media, social platforms and cutting edge techniques to fundraise, more effectively engage community, and build brand awareness around a cause.
The panelists at the event will include:
Linda Edelstein, executive vice president of operations and communications at United Performing Arts Fund; Anne Reed, executive director of the Wisconsin Humane Society; Ann Knabe, marketing and PR professional and full-time instructor at UW-Whitewater; and Laura Monagle, director of public relations at Staples Marketing.
The seminar will be moderated by BizTimes reporter Alysha Schertz.
The seminars at the BizTech Conference and Expo are all free to attend and will cover a variety of topics, including financial planning, leadership, productivity, marketing, social media, sales, strategic growth planning, and technology.
