Scheibel Halaska Inc., a Milwaukee-based marketing communications firm, recently joined the International Public Relations Exchange (IPREX), an international corporation made up of independent public relations firms.
IPREX has 60 partners in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and has more than 775 professionals in its membership.
Scheibel Halaska is the only firm in the Milwaukee market that is a member of the organization. It has been named IPREX’s premier public relations and communications counsel in Milwaukee.
IPREX members agree to share knowledge, best practices and resources with other members, essentially giving their clients public relations and communications capabilities worldwide, said Mary Scheibel, principal at Scheibel Halaska.
“IPREX allows SH to be agile – offering clients local talent across the globe while maintaining consistency in messaging and purpose,” she said. “We now have an extended team of PR professionals that can hit the ground running anywhere we need them to in the world.”
When members join IPREX, they agree to assist other members when they’re approached, Scheibel said. However, financial arrangements between individual members are arranged outside of the organization on a case-by-case basis.
Scheibel-Halaska’s experience representing manufacturers will make it a valuable addition to the organization, said Jim Walsh, IPREX worldwide president. Walsh is also founder and managing partner of Walsh Public Relations in Dublin, Ireland.
“With the increasing globalization of manufacturing, this experience will be invaluable to IPREX partners and their clients throughout the world,” he said.
