Renowned photographer showcases work locally for gallery night

Jim Herrington, renowned portrait photographer, will debut his “Legends of Climbing,” exhibit on the walls of Hanson Dodge Creative, 220 E. Buffalo St., on Friday, April 15 for Gallery Night.
The collection features iconic rock climbers and mountaineers on various mountain peaks.
“We’re very inspired by Jim’s Legends of Climbing project,” said Ken Hanson, CEO and chief creative officer at Hanson Dodge Creative. “Jim’s work captures the rugged individuality that inspires today’s athletes, and he does it with the kind of authenticity, insight and inspiration that we strive for in our work as well.”
Hanson Dodge Creative focuses on building brands around sports, fitness and outdoors.
The collection features photographs of climbers including: Royal Robbins, Jim Bridwell and Thomas Hornbein. It has been in development for over 15 years and is a sneak preview of his upcoming book.
Hanson Dodge Creative will host an opening exhibition with hors d’oeuvres and beverages from 5 to 9 p.m.
