Real estate profile: Timothy J. Dunne

Organizations:

president, Dunne Commercial Properties

Company: Dunne Commercial Properties (16785 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls)
Title: President
Education: "Graduated from Pewaukee High School, then WCTC associate degree in marketing, then four-year business administration degree at Carroll College."
City of Residence: Town of Erin
Hobbies and Interests: "Marathons – 17 and counting. Camping, 27 national parks and counting. Men’s Christian Fellowship Group – vibrant and strong."
What are you working on? "Real estate property procurement. I represent a diverse client base, who are ready, willing and able to acquire prudent commercial real estate properties, ranging anywhere from $500,000 to $20 million."
How does the market look to you? "Excellent! The market is what you make of it. It’s all about relationships and superior customer service. I  always endeavor to be "more important, to less people," to ensure extreme response time required/deserved by clients. Interest rates at historic lows, and many sellers languishing, so a great opportunity for those in a position to buy."
What was the best deal you’ve ever been involved in? "Brookmound Plaza strip mall. Hardest deal I ever worked on, requiring a great deal of patience and diplomacy, but ultimately extremely lucrative for all parties."
What was the funniest moment of your career? "Finally locking down a negotiation for a friend of mine on his new home in Pewaukee, only to find the deal put on hold for another three months, due to bats! A bat colony was in the attic, and we had to wait until they "awoke" and then have them professionally caught, and released. .. Ay yah yah! Not funny then, but pretty hilarious now."
