Towne Investments new hire to lead push into Chicago area

Towne Investments’ will be part of big push in Chicago area
Milwaukee-based Towne Investments recently hired Michael Powers as director of industrial investments. Powers will be responsible for expanding Towne Investments industrial portfolio through development and acquisition activity in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. "Towne Investments is pleased to have Mr. Powers join the Towne team and feels that his past experience and involvement in the metro-Chicago marketplace will be a great asset as Towne makes a targeted effort to more significantly invest in various Chicago submarkets over the next 24 months," said John Kersey, director of Towne Investments. Towne Investments is the trade name under which Milwaukee-based Zilber Ltd. markets its commercial investment portfolio. Zilber owns and manages more than 6 million square feet of commercial space.

Irgens promotes two
Wauwatosa-based Irgens Development Partners LLC recently promoted Marcia Geueke to executive director of member interests. Geueke has worked for Irgens for nine years. In addition, Irgens promoted Daniel Cowell to vice president. He will continue to lead and manage Irgens’ projects in Wisconsin, Illinois and Arizona for both medical ventures and commercial developments. Cowell has nearly 15 years of real estate experience.

Mortenson hires construction manager
Mortenson Construction recently hired Andrew Wiegman as a construction manager in its Brookfield office. Wiegman has more than 15 years of construction industry experience and has worked on several notable projects including Discovery World in Milwaukee, SC Johnson Project Honor in Racine and multiple projects at The Shops of Grand Avenue in Milwaukee.

Shorewest adds New Berlin sales associate
Brookfield-based Shorewest Realtors recently added Carol Simon as a sales associate in its New Berlin office.
