Bucks owners buy another Old World Third Street lot
The owners of the Milwaukee Bucks continue to work to prepare plans to build a new arena and create a mixed-use district around the arena. Deer District LLC, an affiliate of the Bucks ownership group, recently purchased a site at 1117-19 N. Old World Third St. from Fred Usinger Inc. for $675,000, according to state records. Earlier this summer Deer District LLC purchased a 0.2-acre parking lot at 1129-35 N. Old World Third St. for $750,000, and the 5,000-square-foot Kissinger’s Meats & Poultry building at 505 W. Juneau Ave. for $2.5 million, according to state records.

Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery joins City Lights Design Showroom in Brookfield
Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery moved recently from West Allis to Brookfield to join the City Lights Design Showroom, a Ferguson enterprise. In addition to lighting, the 15,000-square-foot showroom located at 13300 West Capital Dr. offers a selection of bath and kitchen products and appliances. City Lights Design Showroom was acquired by Ferguson last October. While the Ferguson showroom has moved, the company will continue to operate a warehouse and retail counter for the plumber and trade contractor at 2030 S. 116th St. in West Allis.
