Medical office building planned in Franklin
The Rheumatology and Immunotherapy Center recently purchased a 2.3-acre site on Oakwood Park Court in the Franklin Business Park in Franklin from MLG Development Inc. for $307,000. The center plans to build a 12,000-square-foot medical office building on the site and will re-locate to the building from its current location at 200 E. Ryan Road in Oak Creek. The property sale was brokered by Barry Chavin and Tony Bareta of NAI MLG Commercial who represented MLG Development and Jack Jacobson of NAI MLG Commercial, who represented the buyer.

Fantastic Sams plans big expansion in Wisconsin
Fantastic Sams, a Beverly, Mass.-based hair salon franchise with 1,300 locations, including 40 in Wisconsin, plans to double its Wisconsin presence, including several additional locations in the Milwaukee area. The company is seeking franchisees in the Milwaukee area to open locations. “As we seek to grow our roots in Wisconsin, we are eager to find new owners throughout the state and help them find the ideal location to open a salon as well as provide them with the tools, training and support to make their business a success,” said Shawn Rauckman, director of franchise sales for Fantastic Sam’s in  Wisconsin.

recently closed its Menomonee Falls branch, which housed asset services personnel, and consolidated those operations at its downtown Milwaukee office at 777 E. Wisconsin Ave. “Combining our brokerage, investment, appraisal, global corporate services and asset services under one roof will allow us to better assist our clients with their real estate needs,” said Max Rasansky, managing director of CB Richard Ellis Wisconsin.

The Opus Group honored for area projects
The Opus Group received recognition from the Design-Build Institute of America for projects in the Milwaukee area. Opus received a national Design-Build Merit Award in the "Private Sector – Over $25 million" category for The Shoppes at Fox River project in Waukesha and an honorable mention in the "Educational Over $10 Million" category for the work completed on Zilber Hall, an administration and student services building on the Marquette University campus.

PKA Marketing relocates
PKA Marketing recently moved 1.5 miles north of its previous location to 1009 W. Glen Oaks Lane, Suite 107, Mequon, in the Glen Oaks Business Park in Mequon. The marketing communications firm had been located on Towne Square Road for 24 years.
