Rich’s House of Cakes opens Waukesha location
Rich’s House of Cakes recently opened a store at 821 Meadowbrook Road, Waukesha. Rich’s, a “from scratch” bakery, also has a store at 4353 S. 27th St., Milwaukee.
Zilber Ltd. says “thank you” to Santiago
Zilber Ltd., which is redeveloping the former Pabst brewery complex in downtown Milwaukee, this week on a digital billboard at The Brewery posted a “thank you” message to outgoing University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee chancellor Carlos Santiago. UWM plans to locate its new School of Public Health at The Brewery. “Chancellor Santiago came to our community six years ago with a vision to expand the role of UWM and enhance its research capabilities,” said Zilber vice president Mike Mervis. “Though that vision has not yet been fully fulfilled, it is certainly well on its way to fulfillment.”
