New Walmart Neighborhood Market store to open in Waukesha
A new 42,000-square-foot Walmart Neighborhood Market store will open on Friday, Nov. 1 at Highway 164 and Coral Drive in Waukesha. The Walmart Neighborhood Market stores are smaller stores with grocery and pharmacy departments but no general merchandise department. The Waukesha store will have 95 full- and part-time employees.
Topping off ceremony to be held for Potawatomi Casino hotel
A topping off ceremony will be held Friday, Nov. 1, to celebrate the completion of vertical construction for the 18-story, 381-room hotel that is being built at Potawatomi Bingo Casino, 1721 W. Canal St., Milwaukee.
Brew pub planned in Bay View
Matthew McCulloch plans to open District 14 Brewery & Pub in a 107-year-old building at 2273 S. Howell Ave. in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood. The business will operate as a restaurant and tavern that will brew its own beer. It will have a capacity of 80 patrons.
CBRE to market 2040 Lofts for sale
CBRE’s National Student Housing Group has been named the exclusive agent for the sale of a six-property portfolio at four universities. The properties include the 2040 Lofts building near Marquette University in Milwaukee. The 235,266-square-foot building has 231 rental units and 612 beds. The CBRE Student Housing Group represents the owner of the portfolio, Maryland-based ASB Real Estate Investments.
