Kolb+Co., Brookfield, hired Katie Barrette as a marketing assistant; Tory Holman as word processor; and Thomas Case and Karen Domagalski as staff accountants. Barrette holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in design studies from Arizona State University. Holman holds an associate’s degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Case previously served as a financial analyst for Generac Power Systems, Waukesha. Domagalski most recently served as a police officer with the Milwaukee Police Department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Avertising and Public Relations

Design North, Racine, hired Frank Ullenberg as senior design director and Doug Vojtko as a design support specialist. Ullenberg holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee. Vojtko holds a bachelor’s degree in management and communications from Concordia University and an associate’s degree in marketing from Gateway Technical College.

Boelter + Lincoln, Milwaukee, promoted Dan LaVigne to art director and hired Matt Forrest and Steve Yoder in the creative department. LaVigne joined Boelter + Lincoln in 2004 and most recently served as a graphic and interactive designer. Forrest will serve as a junior writer and video editor and holds a degree from UW-Madison. Yoder will serve as senior writer and producer and holds a degree from Purdue University.

Bader Rutter & Associates, Milwaukee, hired Jeff Klaiber as a brand strategist in the brand asset management group. Elizabeth Bergum, Jennifer Ryan and Luke Kujath joined the firm as account executives and Crystal McNett and Traci Swartz as writers in the public relations group.

Ron Sonntag Public Relations, Milwaukee, hired Sarah Catarozzoli and Lindsay Tresemer as account coordinators. Catarozzoli holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison. Tresemer holds a bachelor’s degree in writing and advertising from UW-Whitewater. Both Catarozzoli and Tresemer previously served as interns for the firm.

Andy Narrai, director of business development for Scheibel Halaska, Milwaukee, will serve as secretary and treasurer for the council of governors of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), Washington, D.C. Narrai previously served as the chairman of the central region and district governor of the AAF and as president of the Milwaukee Advertising Club.

Blue Horse, Milwaukee, promoted Cory Bogenschutz to assistant advertising account executive. Bogenschutz joined Blue Horse in 2005. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UW-Whitewater.

Miranda Schield joined Vollrath Associates, Milwaukee, as account coordinator. Schield holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising with a minor in public relations from Marquette University.

Banking and Finance

The Menomonee Falls office of Citizens Bank, Flint, Mich., hired Dean Casper as senior vice president and senior banker; Sandy Basting as vice president and commercial relationship manager; and Debbie Gierach as assistant vice president and commercial credit underwriter. Casper has more than 30 years of experience in commercial banking. Basting has more than 13 years of experience in commercial banking. Gierach has more than 24 years of experience in the financial industry.

Megan McCulloch joined Integrated Financial Solutions (IFS), Delafield, as case manager. McCulloch holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in marketing from Marquette University.

Community Bank & Trust, Sheboygan, hired Kate Holfeltz as office president of the Sheboygan Falls location and Jodi Schilling as assistant vice president of lending at the downtown Sheboygan office. Holfeltz has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Schilling has two years of financial experience.

Darren Liberski joined Disciplined Investor Group, Brookfield, as a financial consultant. Liberski most recently served as an investment specialist for the private client group of JP Morgan Chase, New York.

Building and Construction

VJS Construction Services (VJS), Pewaukee, promoted Mary Jo Harig to senior project coordinator and Pam Tryba to project engineer. VJS hired Eric Williams as assistant project manager and Amy Ehaney as project coordinator. Harig joined VJS in 2004 and most recently served as project coordinator. Tryba joined the firm in 2003 and most recently served as a project coordinator.

Justin Kutka joined the Milwaukee office of M. A. Mortenson, Minneapolis, as a project engineer. Kutka holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UW-Madison.

Gene Breest joined the Glendale office of Jim Pankow Inc., Plymouth. Breest has 33 years of experience in the construction industry. Most recently, Breest served as a project manager for Zabest Commercial Group, Brookfield.

Toby Sistine joined PDC Midwest, Hartland, as architectural designer. Sistine has more than eight years of experience in architecture.

Lori Kramer joined Creative Business Interiors, West Allis, as an interior designer.


Marc Annacchino joined the Milwaukee School of Engineering as the director of the Business Excellence Consortium (BEC). Annacchino has 30 years of industrial experience and previously worked for Johnson Controls, Glendale; Rockwell Automation, Milwaukee; Jordan Controls, Milwaukee; and Marathon Engine Systems, East Troy.

The Center for Innovation and Business Development at UW-Whitewater promoted Bud Gayhart to interim director. Gayhart will oversee the Wisconsin Innovation Service Center and the UWW Small Business Development Center, as Debra Malewicki serves as interim state director of the Small Business Development Center and the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs Network.


Bruce Jorenby joined K. Singh & Associates, Elm Grove, as a senior engineer. Jorenby has more than 30 years of civil engineering experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from UW-Madison and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Oregon State University.

Tom Ringelstetter, joined the Kenosha office of Clark Dietz, Champaign, Ill., as a structural engineer. Ringelstetter has nine years of experience in construction engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UW-Platteville and a master’s degree in civil engineering from UW-Madison.

Rosalie Morgan, founder of EMCS, Milwaukee and Wausau, will serve as president of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin (ACEC WI), Madison. Phil Budde of Strand Associates, Madison, will serve as president-elect; Jim Owen of MSA Professional Services, Baraboo, will serve as secretary and treasurer; Stan Sugden of Ruekert/Mielke, Waukesha, will serve as ACEC director; Tom Pulse of Ayres Associates, Eau Claire, will serve as PEPP director; Andy Inman of Vierbicher Associates, Reedsburg, will serve as ACEC alternate director; Scott Solverson of Earth Tech, Milwaukee will serve as director at large; and John Boldt of Clark Dietz, Champaign, Ill., will serve as past president.

Health Care

Dr. Carol Hasenyager joined the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, as assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology. Hasenyager also joined the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa. Hasenyager previously served as assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology and director of undergraduate medical education in obstetrics and gynecology for the University of Wisconsin Medical School.


Chicago Title Insurance Company, Waukesha, hired Nathan Heinz as national

business unit coordinator and Andy Roznak as senior title examiner. Heinz has more than two years of experience in the title industry. Roznak has 18 years of experience in the title insurance industry.

Legal Services

Von Briesen & Roper, Milwaukee, hired Roy Wagner and Victor Lazzaretti as shareholders and P. Greg Gulick Jr. and Scott Kelly as associates. Wagner focuses his practice on business formation, construction law and commercial and negligence litigation. Lazzaretti is a member of the firm’s business section and focuses his practice on real estate acquisitions, development and finance. Gulick is a member of the health care practice group and focuses his practice on regulatory compliance issues with a special focus on issues involving the Medicare Advantage program. Kelly is a member of the business practice group and focuses his practice on transactions, mergers and acquisitions, governance, and tax issues.


Janet Murphy joined ACS Group, New Berlin, as customer service and parts manager. Murphy has 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.


Erica Schmelzer joined Arandell, Menomonee Falls, in the marketing communications department. Schmelzer holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with an emphasis in public relations and organizational communications from UW-La Crosse.

Real Estate

David Zepecki joined Equity Commercial Real Estate, Milwaukee, as vice president and commercial broker. Zepecki previously served as the director of economic development for Milwaukee County as a county board supervisor.

Inland Companies, Milwaukee, hired Sean Keene as a commercial real estate agent; Lisa Krieg as an accounting assistant; and Jesse Karolewicz, Peter Kopczynski, Brian

Nadboralksi and Bill Nelson in Protech facilities maintenance.

Shorewest Realtors, Brookfield, promoted Chris Peirick to assistant sales director in the Watertown office and Nancy Krakofsky to assistant sales director in the Delavan office. JX Enterprises Companies, Waukesha, parent company of Peterbilt Wisconsin & Peterbilt Illinois, promoted Mike Jacques to corporate used truck director for all eight store locations. Jacques most recently served as sales manager of the Wadsworth, Ill., location of Peterbilt Illinois.


Kolb+Co. Technology Advisers, Brookfield, a division of Kolb+Co., promoted Daniel Donarski to manager of consulting services. Donarski joined Kolb+Co. Technology Advisers in 1999.

Gwendolyn Morgan joined Capital Data, Milwaukee, as sales administrator. Morgan previously served as the webmaster for Elmbrook School District, Brookfield.
