Schenck Business Solutions, Milwaukee, hired Jill Boyle and Katie Petroske as staff assistants. Boyle holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Norbert College. Petroske holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from Marquette University.

Ann Mazer joined Jannsen & Co., Waukesha, as an outsource human resource consultant. Mazer has 10 years of experience in employee benefits and relations, federal and state compliance, orientation programs, workers compensation and unemployment cost control.

Banking and Finance

Layton State Bank, New Berlin, promoted Eric Hall to vice president and credit manager and Jane Guadagni to human resource officer. Hall joined Layton State Bank in 2003. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University. Guadagni joined the bank in 1998. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social welfare from UW-Milwaukee.

Community Bank & Trust and Community Banc-Corp., Sheboygan, promoted Kay Kuznacic to vice president of administration. Kuznacic has been with Community Bank & Trust for more than eight years and most recently served as executive secretary.

The Milwaukee office of Wells Fargo, San Francisco, promoted John Weitzer to regional investment manager for Wells Fargo private client services. Weitzer will be responsible for managing the Eastern Great Lakes region. Weitzer has more than 12 years of investment industry experience and previously served as manager of investment research and communication for Wells Fargo Advantage Funds.

Waukesha State Bank, Waukesha, promoted J. Bernard Fiedler to president of its wealth management services unit. Fiedler has been with the bank for 18 years in the wealth management services unit.

Michael Lehman joined the Milwaukee office of B2B CFO/CIO, Phoenix, as an independent executive professional. Lehman has more than 20 years of experience in leading and implementing business technology solutions. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Marquette University.

Port Washington State Bank promoted Patricia Weidert to senior mortgage underwriting officer. Weidert has been with the bank for two and a half years and most recently served as senior mortgage underwriter. She has 25 years of banking experience, including 18 years of experience in mortgage banking.

Building & Construction

Talisa Larson joined the Jansen Group, Milwaukee, as an administrative associate and receptionist. Larson has seven years of administrative experience.

Creative Business Interiors, West Allis, hired Beth Marcheske as a staff accountant and Misty Baldewicz as construction project manager.

Ellen Beschta joined Building Service Inc. (BSI), Milwaukee and Appleton, as an interior designer in the design department. Beschta holds a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture from UW-Stevens Point.

La Macchia Group, Milwaukee, promoted Joseph Minorik to vice president of design services. Minorik most recently served as director of design services and has been with the company since 2003. Prior to joining La Macchia, Minorik worked for Architectural Associates, Racine, and Woods Associates, formerly Woods-Moynihan, Milwaukee.

Heather Stair joined the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee (AGC-GM), Milwaukee, as director of education and membership services. Prior to joining AGC-GM, Stair served as a property manager with Blake Capital, Milwaukee. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Whitewater.

CG Schmidt, Milwaukee, hired Darrell Kurzka as project manager; David Grayson as senior project manager; Melissa Piasecki as project accountant assistant and Kevin Wallace as a project accountant manager. Kurzka most recently served in the commercial construction division of Miracle Homes, Milwaukee. Grayson most recently worked with Walsh Construction, Chicago. Piasecki previously worked for Inland Companies, Milwaukee. Wallace previously worked for Pepper Construction, Chicago.


Jim Brahm joined Enviro-Safe Consulting, Brookfield, as a senior waste minimization manager. Brahm has more than 25 years of experience in the environmental management field.


Michael Braun joined The Gustave A. Larson Co., Pewaukee, as director of marketing. Braun has 10 years of industry experience and most recently served as vice president of the residential division at Total Comfort of Wisconsin, Pewaukee. He holds a bachelor’s degree from UW and a master’s degree in marketing from Central Michigan University.


Crispell-Snyder, Lake Geneva, hired Brian Greisch and Mike Wieser as engineering technicians. Greisch has five years of technical engineering experience and holds a degree in computer aided drafting and design from ITT Technical College. Wieser holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UW-Milwaukee.

Health Care

St. Francis Hospital, Milwaukee, promoted Dr. Kenneth Redlin to vice president of medical affairs. Redlin has been on the medical staff of St. Francis since 1987 and most recently served as chief of family practice and as senior medical director for APS Healthcare, Brookfield.

Dr. Aysha Lee Schaper joined Sunnyslope Health Center, Brookfield, as a staff physician. Schaper also serves as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. Schaper most recently practiced at the Westgate Medical Group, Milwaukee, for seven years.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, promoted Dr. Halim Hennes to program director of pre-hospital emergency care. Hennes joined the medical staff at Children’s Hospital in 1986 and also serves as a professor of pediatrics and emergency medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa.

Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, promoted Dr. Jon Lehrmann director of the residency training program for the department of psychiatry and behavioral medicine and hired Dr. Heather Smith as assistant professor in the department. Lehrmann also serves as an assistant professor in the department and joined the faculty in 2000. Smith also served as a psychologist specializing in geriatrics and palliative care at the VA Medical Center, Milwaukee.

ProHealth Care Regency Senior Communities, Muskego, promoted Kristin Gence to director of resident services for the Muskego and Brookfield campuses and hired Stacey Lemley as director of community services for the Muskego campus. Gence joined Regency in 2001 and most recently served as community services assistant. Lemley previously served as marketing director for Tudor Oaks Retirement Community, Hales Corners.

Odetta Jeffries and Glenn Wilder joined the board of directors for the St. Michael Hospital Community Foundation, Milwaukee. Jeffries is a certified optician. Wilder is the managing director of Storage Battery Systems, Menomonee Falls.


Majarka Ford-Ziegelbauer joined The Bull at Pinehurst Farms, Sheboygan Falls, as the special events and sales director for the Heritage House Banquet Center.

Legal Services

Tom O’Day joined the labor and employment practice group at Godfrey & Kahn, Milwaukee. O’Day previously worked for State Supreme Court Justice David T. Prosser, State Senator Alberta Darling and Governors Scott McCallum and Tommy Thompson. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, a master’s degree in education policy and leadership analysis and a law degree, all from UW-Madison.

Belinda Belk joined Michael Best & Friedrich, Milwaukee, as an associate in the litigation practice group. Belk focuses her practice on commercial litigation. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College and a law degree from The John Marshall Law School.

Cook & Franke, Milwaukee, hired Jeffrey Sokol as a shareholder and will lead the firm’s intellectual property group; Audra Bogdanski and James Dawson as associates in the litigation group and Caroline Spongberg as an associate in the business group.


Scott Alberti joined Reliable Plating Works, Milwaukee, as head of the polishing department. Alberti has more than 15 years of experience in polishing and most recently owned his own company.

Marketing & PR

McDill Design, Milwaukee, hired Kevin Rux as a production artist and graphic designer and Cynthia Lund Torroll as print buyer and office manager. Rux previously served as a freelance artist for Bradford’s Steinway Showcase, Mequon and Wauwatosa. Torroll previously served as creative director for Wisconsin Energy, Milwaukee, for 18 years.

Kerri Grote joined Scheibel Halaska, Milwaukee, as an account manager. Grote has 12 years of communications and public relations experience and previously worked for Johnson Controls, Glendale, and served as the communications manager for the Journal Broadcast Group, Milwaukee. 

Epic Creative Communications, West Bend, hired Chad Kempf as an agronomist, Kevin Duvalle as a graphic designer and Lindsay Berger and Stephanie D’Amico as assistant account managers. Epic promoted Jeff Litrenta to creative services director and Hans Bocksnick to account executive.

Zizzo Group Advertising & Public Relations, Milwaukee, hired John Murphy as vice president of account services and Rebecca Chipman as an account executive. Prior to joining the firm, Murphy served as managing partner for Hoffman York, Milwaukee. Chipman has eight years of marketing experience.

Blue Horse, Milwaukee, promoted Nancy Jones to vice president and media director. Jones joined Blue Horse in 1999 and most recently served as media director. She holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Western Illinois University.

Mueller Communications, Milwaukee, promoted Darcie Ryan to account coordinator. Ryan joined the firm in 2005 and holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications with a minor in business from Indiana University.

Jessica Vollrath joined Vollrath & Associates, Mequon, as an assistant account

executive. Prior to joining Vollrath, she worked for the Chicago office of Laughlin/Constable, Milwaukee. Vollrath holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a focus on marketing from Indiana University.

Real Estate

Charles Ball, senior vice president of the Fox Valley office for NAI MLG

Commercial, Brookfield, will serve as president of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Bob Gintoft, senior vice president in the industrial group for NAI MLG Commercial, Brookfield, will serve as vice president; Kenneth Braden of Colliers Barry, Milwaukee will serve as secretary; Terence McMahon of Grubb & Ellis | The Boerke Co., Milwaukee, will serve as treasurer and Robert Dufek of Inland Companies, Milwaukee will serve as admissions chair.

First Weber Group Realtors, Brookfield, hired Terilynn Geissner in the

Menomonee Falls office; John Stoker, Scott Boyd, Joe Rice, Kevin Holmes and Bill Moeller in the Mequon office; Jeremy Mattson in the Metro South office; Peggy Weber in the North Shore office and Shirley Eichman and Debra Mlnarik in the Waukesha office.

Wisconsin Mortgage, a subsidiary of Shorewest Realtors, Brookfield, promoted Denise Breier to vice president of operations, John Inzeo to vice president of production and Amy Lirette to secondary market manager. Breier has held management positions with the company since 1987 and most recently served as underwriting and processing manager. Inzeo joined Wisconsin Mortgage in 1995. Lirette has been with the company for more than 14 years.

David Barry of Colliers Barry, Milwaukee, will serve as president of the Wisconsin chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Sean Smith of The Blether Group, Madison, will serve as secretary and David Lange of Commercial Investment Partners, Brookfield, will serve as treasurer.

MLG Development, Brookfield, promoted Dave Tanner and Brett Haney to senior development coordinators and hired Thomas Hecht as development coordinator. Tanner and Haney both previously served as development coordinators and have been with the company for four years. Hecht holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UW-Milwaukee.

NAI MLG Commercial, Brookfield, promoted John McCardle and Curt Pitzen to vice president of industrial brokerage and Tom Treder, Matt Stamborski and Brian Vanevenhoven to vice president of retail brokerage. NAI MLG Commercial also hired Adam Matson as an industrial sales associate and Tony Haska joined the investment team in the Milwaukee Metro office.

Craig Lashley joined MLG Capital, Brookfield, as an investment analyst in the Milwaukee Metro office. Lashley previously served as a financial sales specialist with Wells Fargo Funds Management Group, a division of Wells Fargo, San Francisco. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from UW-Whitewater.

Andre Wright, an associate attorney for Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, Milwaukee, will serve as chairman of the board for Legacy Redevelopment, Milwaukee, sponsored by Legacy Bancorp., Pittsfield, Mass. and a community partner with Legacy Bank, Milwaukee.


Express Personnel Services, Racine, hired Jessie Kovara as director of First Impressions and Tim Letsch as vice president of sales. Kovara previously worked for All Saints Healthcare, Racine. Letsch previously served as an account manager in the Racine office of Adecco North America, Melville, N.Y.


GE Water & Process Technologies, Household Water Group, Milwaukee, promoted D. Samuel Karge to global director of sales and marketing. Karge joined the company in 1997 and holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison.

Iverson Language Associates, Milwaukee, hired Leah Wanta as assistant project manager and Frank Manzullo as business development manager.

Janet Schumacher joined Great Lakes Media Technology, Mequon, as lead video tape operator. Schumacher has 25 years of experience in the video post-production industry and previously held positions with Allied Vaughn, Minneapolis.
