Clifton Gunderson LLP, Wauwatosa, has promoted Jeremy Ehlers to manager in the assurance services department, Christine Ludwig to senior associate in the tax department, and Alex Marek and Jon Otte to senior associate in the assurance services department.

Milwaukee-based RitzHolman CPAs has added Reenie Scheuber, CPA, to its team as a member of the nonprofit team. Her practice will focus on nonprofit audit and financial management. Prior to joining RitzHolman CPAs, Scheuber was a senior accountant at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. Matt Rios, CPA, a partner of the firm, has been appointed chairman of the Southwest-YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee.

Bader Rutter & Associates, Brookfield, has promoted Colleen Grams and Audra Jacobs to team leader in the agency’s public relations division. Both previously served as senior account executives.

Core Creative, Inc., Milwaukee, recently promoted Beth Crivello-Wagner, Dana Carpenter and Colin Deval within its agency. Crivello-Wagner has been promoted to director of marketing communications. Carpenter has been promoted to account supervisor. She has been a part of the public relations team at Core Creative for more than six years. Deval has been promoted to the role of account executive. He has been with the firm for four years.

Arts & Entertainment

Milwaukee Ballet has hired Angela Reilly as development director. She will be responsible for helping the ballet accomplish key fundraising objectives defined within its recently developed strategic plan. Reilly has 10 years of fundraising experience with the Eye Institute at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Banking & Finance

Chicago-based Harris Financial Corp. recently appointed Peter Engel to head retail banking and Tom Bolger to head commercial banking in Wisconsin.

Brookfield-based North Shore Bank has added Molly Schissler to the organization as vice president of human resources. Before coming to North Shore Bank, Schissler led the human resources management team for another area banking institution. She also held human resources positions within a technology and manufacturing organization.

Community Bank & Trust, Sheboygan, recently promoted Grant Schilling to office president at the Glendale office. Schilling has been with Community Bank & Trust for more than a year and has more than 13 years of experience in the banking industry.

Chambers of Commerce

Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce promoted Mary Baer to director of membership development. Baer joined the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce in April 2009 after her career at Cooper Power Systems in Waukesha and at United Way of Waukesha County.

Education

Curtis Weathers has been hired as the new director for the Design Your Future (DYF) program at Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon. Weathers will now oversee the program, which started in the fall of 2007 and is administered at the University’s Midtown Center in Milwaukee. The program is a unique, two-year program for area high school graduates who seek an affordable Christian education at an accredited institution.

Fitness Centers

The YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee has promoted Bob Heger to chief operating officer. Prior to being appointed COO, Heger served as executive vice president of operations since 2008, after a 26-year career with the YMCA.

Health Care

Wauwatosa-based Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin has named Sue Widmann director of Quality and Patient Safety. Widmann will be responsible for leading the operational implementation of Children’s Hospital’s quality improvement programs and guiding leaders through change. She previously served as director of Ambulatory Services, where she oversaw more than 70 medical and surgical subspecialty clinics at Children’s Hospital.

Milwaukee-based Home Instead Senior Care has hired Jeanine Kowalski as community service representative for Waukesha County.

Insurance

Sheboygan-based Acuity has promoted four staff members in its Enterprise technology department. Those promoted include: Brent Shikoski, senior systems architect; Ryan Kunesh, systems architect; and Nikolaus Reed and David Lutz, who were promoted to programmer analysts.

Legal Services

DeWitt Ross & Stevens’ metro Milwaukee office had five attorneys named to The Best Lawyers in America’s Best Lawyers list for 2011. They include: Douglas Frazer, tax law; Patricia Kujawa, family law; Charles McMullen, real estate and corporate law; David Meany, commercial litigation, information technology law, international trade and finance law and Ken Voss, construction law.

Waukesha-based Buelow Vetter Buikema Olson & Vliet LLC has added Sarrie Pozolinski to the firm as an employment litigation attorney. Pozolinski’s practice focuses on representing employers before various state and federal administrative and judicial tribunals in all matters related to labor and employment law.

Manufacturing

Seattle, Wash.-based Gaco Western has hired Dan Nelson as the vice president of research and development at its manufacturing facility in Waukesha.

Milwaukee-based Pflow Industries has added Sandy Silverberg, western regional sales manager; Tony Koldan, sales engineer; and Dennis Nelson, controller, to its staff.

Nonprofit

Interfaith Senior Programs of Waukesha County has added Glen Choban of Capri Senior Communities, Debby Judkins of Oak Hill Terrace and Phillip Remmers of Cramer, Multhauf & Hammes LLP to its board of directors.

Dan Burkee was recently named executive director of Eagle-based Old World Wisconsin Foundation. He was formerly vice president.

Milwaukee-based The Novo Group has added Barbara Kennedy, senior vice president of Human Resources for United Stationers, to its board of directors.

Technology

Milwaukee-based Prolitec Inc., a developer of air treatment and air care technologies, has appointed Glen Clements as vice president of sales for the company’s Aerobiology and Infection Control Division.
