Brookfield-based Vrakas/Blum S.C. has named Sandy McGee chief operating officer. McGee spent the last 16 years working for The Schroeder Group S.C., Attorneys at Law, including 10 as chief operating officer. In her new position, she will tend to the business side of Vrakas/Blum, managing finances, human resources, marketing, technology and information systems, general administration, and facility and operations.

■    Advertising & Public Relations
STIR Advertising & Integrated Messaging, of Milwaukee, recently appointed Jeff Jasinowski a senior art director and named Jon Wolf account supervisor. Jasinowski, who has agency experience as an art director, will focus on developing creative messaging for clients as he handles art direction, design, and television and photo shoots. Wolf also brings agency experience and will help clients achieve their business goals with custom marketing solutions.

Brookfield-based Celtic Inc. has added Liz Casper as a media buyer. Casper has more than 35 years of experience in the advertising industry, including having worked for Celtic from 1990 to 2006. Her expertise includes planning and placing print, broadcast, online and outdoor advertising for a variety of clients. As a media buyer, she will focus on media placement, auditing, invoicing, traffic and monthly analysis.

Milwaukee-based Zizzo Group has added Gina Davis to its media team as a media planner and buyer. Davis brings media planning and buying experience from both an agency setting and the retail industry.

Brookfield-based LePoidevin Marketing has promoted Kelsey Meyer to account executive and digital marketing strategist. Meyer was hired as an assistant account executive in 2014. In her elevated position, she will help clients create and roll out comprehensive marketing and public relations initiatives. Meyer’s focus will include social media, website development, search engine optimization and digital marketing.

■    Architecture
Milwaukee-based Zimmerman Architectural Studios Inc. has added to its Healthcare Facilities Design Studio staff with Randall Schlee, project architect and project manager; Brian Nelson, project manager; Zorana Kostovic, project manager; and William Ramirez, CAD technician.

Abacus Architects Inc., of Sheboygan, recently promoted Derrek LeMahieu to owner and principal. LeMahieu has served as an architect and project manager at the firm and has worked for the firm since 2007. In his new role, he will work as technology coordinator and will also take part in the firm’s mentorship program. Additionally, LeMahieu will head projects from start to finish.

■    Banking & Finance
The PNC Financial Services Group Inc. has promoted Chris Hermann to senior vice president for corporate banking in Milwaukee. Hermann has more than a decade of banking experience and is well versed in business development and portfolio management. He is also an advisor on the PNC Foundation’s Wisconsin Distribution Committee. Hermann’s primary responsibilities include advising Wisconsin-based companies with revenues exceeding $50 million.  

■    Building & Construction
Black Diamond Group Inc., based in Oak Creek, has hired Betty Kroll as a controller. Kroll has more than 20 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.

Scas Management Group LLC, of Milwaukee, has added Victoria Pagan as claims examiner and Jennifer Raley as human resources generalist.

GE Healthcare has promoted Rodrigo Grion, who is based in Waukesha, to global head of compliance monitoring. Grion has worked for GE for the past 12 years, filling leadership roles in both GE Healthcare and GE Capital. He recently was GE Healthcare’s global improper payments prevention leader. In his elevated positon, he will head a team focused on financial compliance monitoring.

■    Engineering
Brookfield-based R.A. Smith National Inc. recently hired Kristian Nygaard as a civil engineer in its land development services division. Nygaard earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on transportation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he interned for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

■    Environmental
Balestrieri Environmental & Development Inc., of Elkhorn, has welcomed Michael Kapitan as a project coordinator and Sarah Pavlik as an accounting technician. The company also recently promoted Angela Gasiamis from project coordinator to business office coordinator.

■    Manufacturing
St. Francis-based Wixon has appointed Jean Hansen logistics manager. Hansen brings close to 20 years of experience in the distribution industry. Prior to joining Wixon, she served as the warehouse and logistics manager for Baptista’s Bakery, now part of Snyder’s-Lance, in Franklin. In her new position, she will guide the company’s logistics staff, who take care of inbound receipts and outbound shipping. Hansen’s specific responsibilities include managing transportation functions, organizing strategic plans, and rolling out process improvements.

■    Nonprofit
Safe & Sound Inc. has added to its board of directors with James Bohn of Wisconsin HIDTA (High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas), Sodi Nichols of BMO Harris Bank and Tony Nguyen of Community Banking. Safe & Sound has also appointed John Brannan accountant. Brannan has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, including work in nonprofits.

■    Real Estate
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s West Bend office recently added real estate agent Tim Yost.

Brookfield-based MLG Capital, the real estate investment arm of MLG companies, has promoted David Binder, Jr. and Andrew Sinclair to vice president of private equity. Binder has been with MLG Capital since 2014, when he was hired as assistant vice president of private equity. Sinclair started working for MLG companies in 2008 as a real estate assistant and then office broker intern. He returned to the firm in 2013 as lead investment analyst and became assistant vice president of private equity in 2014.

Colliers International | Wisconsin, headquartered in Milwaukee, has promoted Jessica Voelker to vice president of Inland Companies/Colliers International | Wisconsin. Voelker has been with Inland since January 2005, when she was hired as support to brokerage operations. Her tenure has also included serving as marketing and information technology manager. Colliers International | Wisconsin has also promoted Katie Watson to executive vice president. Watson has worked for Inland since June 2005, with a large focus on human resources.

■    Retail
Roundy’s Inc., headquartered in Milwaukee, recently added Kimberly Feil to its board of directors. Feil is chief executive officer of bizHive and brings insight in retail marketing, marketing strategy and change management. Roundy’s also recently named Gregory Josefowicz lead director, a newly created position with responsibilities such as overseeing meetings the chairman cannot attend, acting as a liaison between the chairman and the independent directors, and approving information sent to the board. Josefowicz, who will also head the nominating and corporate governance committee, has served Roundy’s board since March 2012 and has spent the past five years as a private investor.

White House of Music, headquartered in Waukesha, has named Jenny Kosek director of marketing, a newly created role. Kosek will largely focus on ramping up customer engagement by expanding both the company’s social media presence and its in-store programming. Kosek previously worked for White House of Music as a studio manager and communications director from 2006 to 2013.

■    Technology
DP Electronic Recycling Inc., of Elkhorn, has named Arlin Hammerstad business relationship manager. Hammerstad brings more than a decade of experience in customer service and business-to-business sales. He is well-versed in data destruction, asset management and end-of-life recycling.
