Milwaukee-based Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP has promoted Simmi Urbanek to director of marketing. Urbanek has been with the firm since 2004. In her elevated role, she will manage the client relations department and will also focus on expanding the firm’s client base.

Milwaukee Public Theatre has appointed Ron Scot Fry associate artistic director and Susan Scot Fry managing director. Ron also serves as artistic director for Optimist Theatre in Milwaukee. He previously served Carthage College’s theatre faculty for six years and taught at Alverno College. Susan brings more than 23 years of experience in entrepreneurial arts management to the theatre. She also has 16 years of corporate management experience and also serves as managing director of Optimist Theatre.

Banking & Finance

Wisconsin Bank & Trust has added David Bednarski as mortgage sales manager of its mortgage lending office in Brookfield. In this capacity, Bednarski will head growth of the office and will help add new mortgage loan officers and other staff members throughout the coming months.

The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., has named Ryan Alwood senior vice president and area manager for the Wisconsin retail banking market. Alwood’s career has been marked by more than a decade of banking experience. He has worked for PNC since 2004, having joined the company to work in the Peoria, Ill. market. For the past two years, Alwood has been senior vice president and regional manager at PNC with a concentration in the Peoria and Springfield market. In his new leadership role, he will focus on fulfilling the needs of PNC’s retail operations and growth strategy throughout the Wisconsin region.

Brookfield-based North Shore Bank has promoted Craig Witz to vice president of retail banking. Witz has worked for the bank for nine years and previously served as an assistant vice president and district manager. In his new leadership capacity, he will oversee teams at North Shore Bank’s 47 branches in eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

Building & Construction

Marso Companies, LLC, of Franklin, has hired Joe Czjaka to the company’s Marso Construction division. Czjaka will serve as site superintendent. He has more than eight years of construction experience and previously worked as an operations manager at The Rock Sports Complex in Franklin.

Health Care

Madison Medical’s Mequon office has added Dr. Kawaljeet Kaur to its endocrinology team. Kaur is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and specializes in metabolism and clinical nutrition. She completed her degree in medicine at G.S.V.M. Medical College in Kanpur, India in 1998. In 2002, she earned a master’s in health informatics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in endocrinology, metabolism and clinical nutrition at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Hospitality & Entertainment

The Iron Horse Hotel, located in Milwaukee, has appointed Valerie Casper regional director of sales. In this role, Casper will guide the sales teams at The Iron Horse Hotel and at The Charmant Hotel in La Crosse. The Iron Horse Hotel also recently promoted Ellie Harbeck to director of operations and Emily Dixon to front office manager.

Stand Rock Hospitality, which co-owns and manages the new Hampton Inn & Suites being built in West Allis, has named Jon Jossart general manager of the hotel. Jossart has 13 years of experience in hospitality. He previously served as director of business development for the Ambassador Hotel and the Ambassador Inn at Marquette in Milwaukee. In his leadership position at the West Allis Hampton Inn & Suites, he will contribute to construction planning, the rollout of brand standards, staff hiring and training, and development of community partnerships. Upon the hotel’s opening in August 2015, Jossart will oversee its operations and finances.

CSM Corporation has promoted Jamie Trumble to director of sales for Residence Inn Milwaukee Downtown. Trumble has worked in hospitality since 2008. She previously was director of sales for CSM Corporation’s The Homewood Suites Chicago, in Lincolnshire, Ill. In her new role, she will be responsible for boosting revenue, maximizing profits and maintaining quality for hotel patrons.

Insurance

Willis of Wisconsin’s Milwaukee office has added Athena Sinclair as senior client services specialist and Karen Kuxhaus as client services specialist.

Manufacturing

Rexnord Corp., headquartered in West Milwaukee, has added Paul Jones to its board of directors. Jones is the retired chairman, chief executive officer and president of Milwaukee-based A.O. Smith Corp. He now serves as a director of A.O. Smith; Federal Signal Corp.; and Integrys Energy Group, Inc. Jones will also be part of the company’s Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the board.

The Jor-Mac Company, Inc., headquartered in Lomira, has named Jon Hintz director of business development. In his new role, Hintz will lead business development initiatives for new customers as well as the company’s existing customer base.

Server Products Inc., of Richfield, has named Jodi McMahon director of quality and business improvement. McMahon has more than 20 years of experience in quality manager/director roles in the high-tech and service industries. She previously was quality and productivity manager at The Management Association. In her new position, McMahon will head Server Products’ efforts to enhance quality and build on best practices.

Marketing

Boelter + Lincoln Marketing Communications, of Milwaukee, has hired Zac Jacobson as an art director in its creative department. Prior to joining the agency, Jacobson was a graphic designer for Catral Doyle creative co. in Milwaukee. Jacobson earned a degree in fine arts with a concentration in communication design at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.

Nonprofit

The United Performing Arts Fund has promoted Emily Vitrano to development specialist. The organization also recently hired Melissa Feldmeyer as development coordinator, Isabelle Koenig as administrative assistant-development, and Christina Feigel as data maintenance coordinator.

The Lutheran Home Foundation, of Wauwatosa, has added Lindsey Kriete to its board of directors. Kriete is human resources/corporate director for the Kriete Group, of Milwaukee, and also serves as executive search consultant for Milwaukee-based Core Business Solutions & Beal Associates LLC. Kriete has more than 13 years of experience in business management, employee development and executive recruitment.

Professional Organizations

MRA-The Management Association, headquartered in Waukesha, has announced several new hires: Elizabeth Harris, outplacement/survey department coordinator; Dennis Majewski, member relations manager; Todd Rognsvoog, human resources director; Pam Renick, director of surveys and business research; Sara Benjamin, production artist; and Kim Nichols, human resources director. The Management Association also recently promoted Carol Shoberg to business partnerships director.

Real Estate

Irgens has added to its Milwaukee-based commercial real estate solutions team with Maleta Brown, senior property manager, and John Ford, development director. Brown has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. In her new role, she will be responsible for property and tenant management for sites in the metropolitan Milwaukee market. Ford has more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience. In his new position, he will lead real estate investments in the Milwaukee market and will be charged with managing all aspects of real estate development.
