Schenck S.C. has added Christa Baldridge as a senior tax manager in Milwaukee. Baldridge has more than 14 years of experience working for a regional accounting and advisory firm. At Schenck, Baldridge will provide tax consulting and compliance services to privately-held businesses and individuals, focusing primarily on the manufacturing and distribution industries.

Time Warner Cable Media has added Peter Van Den Heuvel as a local sales manager in its Milwaukee office. Van Den Heuvel has more than 15 years of experience in sales leadership. He has worked for Charter Media and Time Warner Cable and most recently was part of the Green Bay-Appleton Time Warner Cable Media office. In his new sales leadership position, he will focus on employee development of his staff of account executives, client satisfaction, and consultation of a portfolio of agency and direct clients.

Child Care Services

Ebenezer Child Care Centers appointed Lisa Heid assistant center coordinator for its School Partnership Program. Heid previously served as a line therapist with the Wisconsin Early Autism Project. Her career also includes five years of experience working in child care and leading enrichment programs in math, Spanish, phonics, reading, music and cooking. In her new position, Heid will assist with the operations of the before- and after-school child care activities facilitated by Ebenezer at Greenfield’s four public elementary schools.

Distribution

IEWC, headquartered in New Berlin, has appointed Tom Artinian vice president of marine, oil and gas. Artinian has 16 years of commercial experience in the wire and cable industry. In his new position, he will assist in developing strategies behind IEWC’s business plan and executing them within the marine, oil and gas markets. Artinian will work from his office in Houston.

Education

Wisconsin Lutheran College, located in Milwaukee, recently promoted Dr. Wendy Close to associate professor of psychology, Dr. Jerralyn Moudry to associate professor of communication, Dr. David Schulz to professor of computer science, Dr. Daniel Ebeling to professor of chemistry, and Dr. Erik Ankerberg to professor of English.

Engineering

Ayres Associates has added civil engineer Sara Arnold to its Waukesha office. Arnold has 11 years of experience in site-civil and transportation design, construction, and inspection.

Health Care

Pauline Maclean has been named director of nursing at Rogers Memorial Hospital in West Allis. Maclean has more than 40 years of experience in administration and mental health nursing. In her new leadership role, she will coordinate and oversee nursing services at Rogers’ Milwaukee campus and will attend to patient care issues. She will also serve as a liaison to other hospital departments, work on clinical issues within the professional staff and the community, manage care for patients, and serve on the inpatient unit in a clinical role as needed.

Smart Choice MRI, with locations in Milwaukee and Sheboygan, has named Jeff Caprini chief operations officer. Caprini has more than 17 years of experience in the medical field and most recently oversaw a team of 25 sales representatives for St. Jude’s. In his new role, he will manage clinic operations to continue improving the patient experience.

ProHealth Care Medical Associates hired Dr. Sherry Prowatzke to consult patients in its Brookfield and Pewaukee clinics. Prowatzke is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and is also a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. She attended the Medical College of Wisconsin and held a residency at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Insurance

Partners Mutual Insurance Company, of Waukesha, has hired Jesse Hyche, Jr. as a senior accountant. Hyche has more than six years of experience in statutory accounting and holds the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation. In his new position, he will focus on all aspects of financial reporting.

Diversified Insurance Solutions, headquartered in Brookfield, has added Heidi Pezall as director, human resources and online benefit solutions. Pezall has more than 10 years of experience in human resources and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation. She most recently served as product director, employer products at Zywave. Diversified Insurance Solutions also recently promoted Diana Kroll to client services representative. Kroll has worked for the company for seven years.

Legal Services

Michael Gratz and Michael Carton, both attorneys at Milwaukee-based Boyle Fredrickson, have been named 2013-14 co-chairs of the Milwaukee Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section. In these leadership roles, Gratz and Carton will organize educational programs for other attorneys.

Fox, O’Neill & Shannon, S.C., headquartered in Milwaukee, has added Michael Koutnik as an associate. Koutnik graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2013. In his new position, he will serve as a member of the corporate practice group, specializing in general corporate, intellectual property, real estate and transactional law.

Manufacturing

Dorner Manufacturing Corp., based in Hartland, has named Stacy Pabst marketing manager. Pabst previously spent six years working in marketing for Goff Enterprises Inc. in Pewaukee. In her new position, she will lead Dorner Manufacturing’s marketing and advertising initiatives surrounding its conveyor platforms and will oversee public relations, Internet and trade show activities. She will also be responsible for new product research and development functions for industrial and sanitary markets.

Marketing

Marcy Tessmann, president of Hartland-based Charleston|Orwig, has been elected governor of TAAN Worldwide, an international marketing agency alliance that is active in 32 countries. Tessmann has been involved with TAAN since 2003 and has more than 20 years of marketing experience focused on agriculture and food systems. She will serve a three-year term as governor.

Nonprofit

Curative Care Network appointed Richard Schutte vice president of industrial services. Schutte’s career includes nonprofit leadership, contract manufacturing and financial management. In his new position, he will manage operations at the industrial services facilities at Curative Care Network in West Allis.

Ellen Gilligan, Greater Milwaukee Foundation president and chief executive officer, has been elected to the Local Initiatives Support Corporation’s (LISC’s) board of directors. Gilligan has been involved with LISC since 1981. She was a program officer with the national nonprofit organization from 1981-86 and also served as deputy project director for seven federally-funded national community development technical assistance projects. For the past 13 years, she has been vice chair of the nonprofit’s advisory committee.

Real Estate

Peggy Attwood, property manager for Colliers International| Wisconsin, has been elected president of the Building Owners and Managers Association-Wisconsin. Don Lindeman, president of property management for Mandel Group, has been elected president of the Apartment Owners and Managers Association of Greater Milwaukee. Both leaders will serve during the 2013-14 term.

Technology

ARI Network Services, based in Milwaukee, has hired David Valentine as director of OEM sales. Valentine will focus on the company’s sales activities for manufacturers in the automotive tire and wheel, power sports, outdoor power equipment, marine, RV and white goods industries.
