Komisar Brady & Co., LLP, based in Milwaukee, promoted Kristen Stevens to senior accountant. Stevens has worked for the company since 2011.

Corey Vanderpoel has been named a managing director of the Schenck M&A Solutions team at Schenck S.C. in Milwaukee. Vanderpoel has more than 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions. He will work with both internal and external clients at Schenck S.C. and will focus on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and financing.

Vollrath Associates Inc., located in Milwaukee, has promoted Julie Caan to assistant account executive. Caan has been with the agency since June 2012 and most recently worked as communications specialist.

Primum Marketing Communications, based in Milwaukee, has added Holly Schreck as office administrator. In her new position, Schreck will handle tasks related to office administration and human resources. She has five years of experience in human resources management and has also worked as a flight attendant and a teacher.

Architecture

Milwaukee-based Plunkett Raysich Architects LLP, recently promoted several of its employees including Devin Kack, project designer III; Nicholas Kent, project manager, associate; Tom Koch, associate; Doug Kunde, project specialist III; Adrian Langhaus Jr., senior associate; Linda Moses, associate; Jeff Peter, senior associate; Michael Schaefer, senior associate; Larry Schneider, senior associate; Eric Schoedel, senior project architect; and Mary Spriggs, associate.

Banking & Finance

Southport Bank, based in Kenosha, has promoted Gwen Becker to senior vice president of marketing and retail development. Becker has worked for the bank since March 2012 and has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Southport Bank also recently promoted Paul Otto to vice president and chief financial officer for Southport Bank and Southport Financial Corp. Otto has been a member of the bank’s staff since 2001 and previously served as vice president of finance and audit.

The Equitable Bank has promoted Zach Buchman to loan officer at its Hales Corners branch. Buchman has been with the bank since February 2011 and will now be responsible for originating residential and investment mortgage loans.

Brookfield-based North Shore Bank has promoted Jenny Meyer to branch manager and Joseph Beranis to personal banker at its Racine Regency branch. Meyer has been with the bank for the last three years and previously served as a personal banker at its New Berlin location. Beranis joined the bank in 2012 as a branch operations coordinator.

Johnson Bank, based in Racine, has hired JoAnne Marks as assistant vice president-senior mortgage loan officer. Marks has more than 25 years of area real estate and mortgage lending experience. Her expertise includes financing for high net worth individuals, residential purchases, refinancing and condominium loan programs. She will serve the Milwaukee region in her new role.

Associated Bank has expanded its Milwaukee leadership with the appointment of three staff members. Linda Tovar has joined the bank as assistant vice president, branch manager, at the Downer Avenue location in Milwaukee. Edward Burg has been named a marketing analyst in the strategy, marketing and corporate communications department at the Kilbourn Avenue branch in Milwaukee. Bradley Dethloff has been promoted to vice president, compliance quality assurance team lead. He will also be based at the Kilbourn Avenue branch.

Building & Construction

Consolidated Construction Company has hired Ryan Sawall as project director in its downtown Milwaukee office. Sawall will focus on developing and managing construction projects throughout southeastern Wisconsin as well as in northern Illinois. He is a licensed professional engineer and has more than 10 years of construction management experience.

Greenfire Management Services, located in Milwaukee, has added Mike Timmers as a project manager. Timmers has 13 years of construction industry experience.

MSI General Corp., located in Oconomowoc, recently promoted Susan Butler to executive vice president and chief executive officer. Butler has been with MSI General since 1985, working as an accounting clerk, manager of accounting and vice president of finance.

Education

The Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) has hired Dawn Thibedeau as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Most recently she was the vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Lutheran Social Services.

Environmental

Watertech of America Inc., located in Greenfield, has added Jeff Bodendorfer to its sales team. Bodendorfer has a degree in integrated science and business with a water emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Health Care

Wheaton Franciscan-St. Joseph Campus, located in Milwaukee, has promoted Linda Puccini to vice president of patient services.

Advanced Pain Management has hired Dr. Ryan Holzmacher at its Milwaukee clinic (located at 9120 W. Capitol Dr.). Holzmacher has medical experience in general internal medicine, nephrology, palliative care and pain management. He focuses on all types of pain using both interventional and non-interventional methods of treatment.

Aurora Health Care recently hired Titus Muzi Jr. as senior vice president of managed care contracting. Muzi has more than 20 years of experience in health care and business strategy, operations, financing, medical cost and network management. At Aurora, he will be responsible for assisting with strategic direction and leadership for the company’s relationships with payers. He will also negotiate managed care contracts and will work with Aurora Accountable Care Network representatives as the company navigates the new federal health insurance exchange.

Stacy McGauvran-Hruby has been named director of marketing at Oconomowoc-based Rogers Memorial Hospital. McGauvran-Hruby has more than 15 years of experience in health care and hospital marketing. The hospital also recently promoted Mary Jo Wiegratz to manager of national outreach.

Insurance

Assurant Health, based in Milwaukee, has promoted Charles Steele to senior vice president-executive sales officer. Steele previously served as vice president-sales and will now work to develop, expand and improve the company’s distribution to increase sales. Steele has been with Assurant Health since 2005.

Landscaping & Maintenance

Winter Services Inc., of West Allis, has hired Jeff Otto as general manager. Otto most recently worked as an equipment rental specialist for FABCO Cat, the state’s Caterpillar dealership.

Nonprofit

Alliance for Children and Families, located in Milwaukee, has appointed Doug Diefenbach senior vice president of marketing and philanthropy. In this new position, Diefenbach will blend the marketing and philanthropic initiatives of the organization to strengthen its national identity and add to its funding and philanthropic efforts. Diefenbach has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations and most recently served as vice president of campaign strategy and communication at the Advocate Charitable Foundation.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee has appointed Sarah Smith vice president of development and communications. In her new position, Smith will oversee a donor development plan for the nonprofit as well as oversee marketing and communications, cause-related marketing and special events. Smith’s background includes working as managing director of regional development in Milwaukee at Marquette University and serving as director of corporate sales for Milwaukee World Festival Inc.

The Milwaukee County Historical Society has appointed Deborah Fugenschuh executive director. Prior to her new leadership position, Fugenschuh spent about 14 years as president and chief executive officer of the Donors Forum of Wisconsin.

Real Estate

Irgens has promoted Mike Syman to vice president of investments in its Wauwatosa office. Syman has worked for the commercial real estate firm for more than 12 years. He handles all financial analysis for Irgens’ potential and current projects as well as assesses refinancing and sale opportunities. Syman also leads financial reporting to management and lenders for the firm’s at-risk projects and monitors the firm’s client reporting website.

Technology

Corporate Technology Solutions (CTS), headquartered in Wauwatosa, has added Kevin Germino to its staff as a software developer. In this role, Germino will assist company clients with creating applications and software solutions.
