Brad Fine is now the senior account executive at LePoidevin Marketing in Brookfield. He will be responsible for offering strategy to clients as well as leading and managing integrated marketing programs. Prior to joining LePoidevin, he was a marketing specialist at the Layne Christensen Company in Pewaukee.

Clare Bergquist has been appointed director at Wauwatosa-based The Lowe Group to build on marketing, communications, and training strategy within the financial services industry. She has worked in financial services for more than 20 years.

Brett Meili has recently joined legal counsel for U.S. Bancorp Fund Services where he will focus on the group’s growing alternative investment services. Meili brings 22 years of securities law experience to U.S. Bancorp Fund Services and was previously a chief compliance officer and anti-money laundering reporting officer for Stark Investments. He was also a chief legal officer of the Baird Funds, managing director of Robert W. Baird’s legal department, and senior counsel for the Strong family of mutual funds.

Waukesha State Bank has hired Christopher Berens and Timothy Black to the bank’s wealth management services. Berens has been appointed senior client advisor, and Black has been named senior business development officer, regional director.

The Equitable Bank, based in Wauwatosa, has promoted Dalynn Cato to assistant vice president, treasurer and controller; Rachel Schwab to assistant manager, marketing and brand director; Tammy Soboleski to assistant vice president, loan processing and closing; and Heidi Gumz to training/operations project manager.

Waterstone Mortgage Corp., Pewaukee, has promoted Lisa Pipia to vice president, project manager. Pipia previously served as a project manager. In her new position, she will oversee all strategic initiatives to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope. The company has also promoted Mike McElherne to vice president, talent acquisition. Prior to his new role, McElherne served as senior corporate recruiter. He will now oversee recruiting initiatives to attract top talent to the company’s branches and corporate office.

Consulting

Asaf Salama has been named president of Duncan Solutions Inc., headquartered in Milwaukee. He will oversee the continued enhancement and support of Duncan’s integrated parking meter and enforcement solutions. Salama has a background in engineering and business operations.

Tammy Steber has joined T.E. Brennan Company in Brookfield as a consultant. Steber has worked in insurance for more than 20 years in all aspects of property and casualty risk management as well as employee benefit consulting.

Education

Ann Nischke has joined Wisconsin Lutheran High School as associate director of mission advancement. She is responsible for annual funds and appeals, alumni relations, and events. Nischke was most recently a representative for MetLife and Thrivent.

Thomas Ponto has been named senior advisor of business and finance at Cardinal Stritch University in Fox Point. Prior to his new position, Ponto worked for 30 years at Kalamazoo College in Michigan where he was responsible for developing models for the school’s financial objectives including operations, capital projects, fundraising campaigns and new programs.

Mount Mary College, Milwaukee, has elected Judie Taylor to its board of trustees for a three-year term. Taylor is president of Waukesha-based DUECO Inc. She also serves on the advisory board for Waukesha-based Odyne Corp. and the Manufacturing Alliance Steering Committee for the Waukesha Business Alliance. She is an advisory board member for the Waukesha County Community Foundation and La Casa de Esperanza and serves as treasurer for the St. Camillus Foundation.

Engineering

Stephanie Allewalt Hacker has been hired as a senior planner at GRAEF, a Milwaukee-based engineering firm. She has more than 10 years of experience working in urban revitalization, planning and economic development. In her new role, she will provide urban planning and design services to GRAEF’s business, nonprofit and government clients.

Gaming

Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee recently named Randall Sturm as director of player development. Sturm will provide strategic direction to VIP services, promotions, the player’s club and guest relations in addition to the Northern Lights Theater and the casino’s retail store. He joined Potawatomi in 1999 and most recently served as a casino manager. The casino also hired Nancy Dzurko as human resources director. Dzurko will oversee daily operations of the human resources department including benefits, compensation, employee relations, employment, training and development, talent engagement, and wellness. She has worked in human resources and gaming operations for more than 15 years.

Health Care

Annemarie Anderson is now the senior director of operations at the Aurora Accountable Care Network for Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care. Anderson previously was a vice president of sales, marketing, and retention for senior services at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 15 years.

Dr. Kimberly Carroll has been appointed assistant professor of medicine (general internal medicine) at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. Carroll will help optimize the medical care of patients undergoing surgery. She focuses on preventative medicine, joint disorders and autoimmune diseases.

Visit Brookfield has appointed 2013 board of directors members: President Bob Dhir, owner and operator of Quality Inn in Brookfield; Vice President Dino Antonopoulos of Antonopoulos Legal Group LLC; Treasurer Kevin Neis, general manager of TownePlace Suites in Brookfield; Secretary Jackie Zach, owner and operator of The Oilerie in Brookfield; Rick Czopp, town administrator in the Town of Brookfield; Shawn Jaremko, general manager of Courtyard by Marriott in Brookfield; Renee Lowerr, Brookfield alderperson; Judi Murphy of Murphy Associates in Brookfield; Jeff McCarthy, Brookfield alderperson; Tim Murphy, owner and operator of Jersey Mike’s in Brookfield; Amy Grunwald, general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Milwaukee-Brookfield in Brookfield.

Insurance

Partners Mutual Insurance Company, Waukesha, has added Suzanne Chrisemer as vice president, underwriting. The company has also hired Camron Monroe as claims representative; Jean Laubenstein as manager, claim department; and Karen Brandl as liability claim specialist.

Landscaping & Maintenance

Brian Zimmerman has joined LandWorks Inc.’s landscape architect team in Sussex. Zimmerman has more than 24 years of experience in landscaping.

Legal Services

Kirk Deheck is now a voting shareholder at Boyle Fredrickson in Milwaukee. Deheck has been with the firm since 2006. His practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications as well as intellectual property opinions and enforcement.

Manufacturing

Alan Hubble has been appointed director of purchasing at St. Francis-based Wixon, a manufacturer of seasonings, flavor systems, and ingredients for the food and beverage industry. Hubble will be responsible for purchasing strategies in Wixon’s ingredients, packaging and third party manufacturing departments. He previously served as the procurement director of La Brea Bakery and has more than 25 years of experience working with food and consumer products.

Chris Yeh is now a maintenance mechanic at TLX Technologies in Pewaukee. He recently finished a 13-year enlistment in the U.S. Army in which he served two tours of duty in Iraq. Prior to the military, Yeh was a technician at Harley-Davidson.

Mike McDonald is the new project manager of Innovative Signs Inc., Waukesha. He has more than six years of experience working in the signs industry.

Nonprofit

Megan Cordova has been appointed senior manager of special events for the American Lung Association Wisconsin, Brookfield. Cordova’s responsibilities include increasing special event revenue, recruiting and engaging high-level volunteer support in fundraising initiatives, cultivating new and existing donors, building relationships with event participants, and increasing corporate support and leadership volunteer engagement in events and activities. Prior to her new position, she served as development officer for the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado.

The USO of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, has added four new board members this year. They are Dan Toomey, Dave Dunker, Jim Wasserburger and Lee Plemons.

The St. Josaphat Basilica Foundation in Milwaukee has added officers and board members for 2013. Officers are Chairman of the Board Edward Cichurski; President and Chief Executive Officer Susan Rabe; Vice Chairs James Hughes and Justin Longley; Treasurer John Rozga; and Secretary Christine Schueller. Re-elected board members include John Rodell, Robert Gunderson, Rev. Michael Glastetter, Mary Hughes, Conrad Kaminski, C.J. Krawczyk, Janet Protasiewicz, Bartholomew Reuter, Mark Rohlfing and Dr. Steven Trinkl.

Jeanine Bly has been appointed director of development of Wisconsin Parkinson Association, Milwaukee. In her new role, she will be responsible for all annual giving to the association through fundraising events, direct mail, membership and memorial gifts.

The Marek Group Inc., Waukesha, recently welcomed back Hannah Kotz Straub, who is joining the business development team. She has worked in the sales industry in commercial printing for more than 20 years. Marek has also added Mark Nelson to its staff.

Real Estate

Outlook Management Group, LLC Franklin, has appointed Sean Sciurba as property manager. He has more than 10 years of experience in commercial and apartment management and construction. Sciurba is responsible for Outlook’s 300,000-square-foot building with retail, industrial and medical office units.

Rob Westfall has joined Coldwell Banker Commercial’s downtown Milwaukee office. He is a commercial real estate agent who has owned a real estate investment company since 2005. In addition, real estate agent Barb Schroeder has joined the Cedarburg office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, and Ted Schaar has been hired to the Coldwell Banker North Shore office to work with the Katie Falk Team.

Russ Sagmoen has been promoted to vice president of the retail division for Colliers|Wisconsin, located in Milwaukee. Sagmoen has worked in the real estate industry for more than 10 years.

John Kuhn has been promoted to principal, director of retail properties group at Siegel Gallagher Inc. in Milwaukee. Kuhn is responsible for the representation of national and regional property owners as well as retailers in their site selection throughout Wisconsin. Kuhn joined Siegel Gallagher as senior vice president in 2010.
