Daryl Duenkel, a senior manager in Wipfli LLP’s health care information technology group, is now president of the Health Information Management Systems Society’s Dairyland Chapter. In this leadership capacity, Duenkel will direct the nonprofit organization’s focus at the state level. HIMSS works to provide global leadership “for the optimal use of information technology and management systems for the betterment of health and health care,” according to the organization. Wipfli LLP is based in Wauwatosa.

STIR Advertising and Integrated Messaging, of Milwaukee, has expanded its integrated marketing team with four new employees. The agency has added Bill Bussler as vice president of integrated marketing, Meg Hemmelgarn as PR account supervisor, Renee Solveson as an account executive, and Monica Lawton as an integrated marketing specialist.

Milwaukee-based Core Creative Inc. recently promoted Colin Deval to public relations/social media strategist, Jessie Deschane to assistant marketing specialist, and Chelsey Orlikowski to assistant public relations/social media specialist. This year, the company also hired Monica Cerletty as a designer, Bethany Rucinski as a senior writer, Leigh Schlueter as a project leader, and Andrea Nordgren as director of visual content strategy.

Arts & Entertainment

In Tandem Theatre, of Milwaukee, has appointed Colin Gawronski to production manager. Gawronski’s professional theatre experience has included roles in design and production for Danceworks, In Tandem Theatre, Next Act Theatre, Kohl’s Wild Theatre, and PrideFest Milwaukee. He is a native of Milwaukee and majored in theater at the High School of the Arts before completing a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In his new position, he will work under In Tandem Theatre’s artistic director, Chris Flieller.

Banking & Finance

Bank Mutual has appointed Joel Potter assistant vice president/bank officer manager for its Southgate office, located at 3340 S. 27th St. in Milwaukee. Potter has more than 13 years of banking and customer service experience. He has worked as an assistant office manager, teller supervisor, personal banker and security specialist and most recently served as an assistant vice president/bank office manager for Associated Bank. At Bank Mutual, Potter will handle business development, operations, sales management and customer service.

Waukesha State Bank has named Rob Kurudza bank manager in its Muskego office. Kurudza has more than 25 years of experience in branch management, commercial lending and personal banking. Prior to joining Waukesha State Bank, he was a business banker at Associated Bank. In the Muskego office of Waukesha State Bank, he will oversee operations. The bank also recently appointed Stephanie Ohlfs marketing director. Ohlfs has nine years of community bank marketing experience. She most recently served as a social media marketing specialist at UW-Milwaukee’s School of Continuing Education. At Waukesha State Bank, she will guide marketing initiatives with a focus on strategic planning, market research, public relations, community relations, budgeting, campaign assessment, event planning and digital marketing. Ohlfs will work in the bank’s downtown Waukesha branch.

Pewaukee-based Ellenbecker Investment Group has named Julie Ellenbecker-Lipsky its new president. Julie is the daughter of Karen Ellenbecker, the firm’s former president. Julie and Karen have been working together for the past 21 years, and Julie has worked for the firm since its 1996 opening. She has more than 20 years of experience in financial services. Karen will continue to work for the firm, managing client accounts and relationships.

Brookfield-based Ridgestone Bank has appointed Bill Harrigan vice president, commercial lending. Harrigan has 15 years of commercial banking experience. In his new role, he will be responsible for new business development in the region and will also provide SBA and USDA loan opportunities to businesses across the region.

U.S. Bank has named Erik Zipp wealth management advisor for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank in Milwaukee. In this capacity, Zipp will help clients with integrated and tailored wealth management services. Zipp, who has his Certified Financial Planner designation, previously worked as a financial consultant for Thrivent Financial.

Building & Construction

Consolidated Construction Co., Inc., based in Appleton, recently added Rob Bergmann as a project manager. Bergmann has more than 15 years of experience in project management. In his new role, he will handle project coordination and leadership, financial management and client relations. He will work out of the company’s Milwaukee and Appleton offices.

Health Care

Plexus Health Solutions Inc., based in Kenosha, has promoted Shannon Brehmer to president. Brehmer has worked for the company for the past 13 years. She joined the company as a billing specialist and most recently served as a division manager for its Federally Qualified Health Center division. In her new leadership role, Brehmer is taking over for founder Jean Bourque, who retired in June. Bourque will continue to serve as chairman, and Brehmer will be responsible for the company’s medical and dental billing divisions for independent practices, small clinics and FQHCs.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of Milwaukee-based The Marcus Corp., has promoted Bianca Destout to sales account executive for its three Milwaukee properties – The Pfister Hotel, InterContinental Milwaukee and Hilton Milwaukee City Center. Destout previously was food and beverage hotel assistant manager at The Pfister Hotel. In her new position, she will focus on group sales at the three venues with particular attention on religious and multicultural organizations.

Legal Services

Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren shareholder David Peterson has been elected president of the Milwaukee Bar Association. Peterson is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Litigation Practice and works out of the firm’s Waukesha office. He is a longtime member of the MBA’s board of directors. His tenure with the association has included positions as president-elect and vice president.

Marketing

Milwaukee-based DCI-Artform has added Catherine Corrao as a marketing manager in the transportation sector, Maureen Fay as a marketing manager, Kevin Burgess as an associate consumer insights manager, Mike Camarata as a 3D designer, Nicholas Hixon as a 3D designer, Peter Jarosz as a 3D designer, and Tyler Wojciechowicz as an associate electrical engineer. Both Burgess and Wojciechowicz previously worked for the company as interns.

Nonprofit

The United Performing Arts Fund, of Milwaukee, has named Debra Schmidt chief development officer. Schmidt served as interim chief development officer during part of the 2014 UPAF campaign. For the past 17 years, she has owned and headed Loyalty Leader Inc., consulting nearly 200 companies and organizations across the country on business development, customer retention, fundraising strategies, collaborations and more. She is also a professional speaker and has authored three books. At UPAF, Schmidt will work with the organization’s CEO and board to devise fundraising strategies that advance the goals of UPAF’s annual campaign.

Life Navigators, based in Wauwatosa, has added Ranisha Brown as a registered nurse. Brown will work for the nonprofit organization’s Care Management Unit.

Professional Organizations

The Granville Business Improvement District in Milwaukee has added Doug Smith to its board of directors. Smith is store manager of the Walgreens store at 8488 W. Brown Deer Road. He will serve a three-year term on the BID’s board.

Transportation

Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc., headquartered in Cudahy, has named presidents of each of its three business segments. The company has appointed Grant Crawford president of its less-than-truckload segment. Patrick McKay has been promoted to president of truckload logistics, and Kevin Charlebois has been promoted to president of transportation management solutions. These three leadership positions complete the company’s reorganization of its executive management team.
