Associated Bank hired Steve Jagusch as vice president, business intelligence manager, and Marck Simson as vice president, regulatory compliance. Both new employees will be based at the bank’s downtown Milwaukee office at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave. Jagusch will work to implement new and automated reporting solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and provide reliable reporting solutions. Simson will aid business lines with compliance interpretation as well as create compliance processes and procedures and improve the efficiency and functionality of compliance systems.

Building & Construction

Hunzinger Construction Co., headquartered in Brookfield, hired Christina Szews as an assistant project manager. In this role, Szews will collaborate with project teams, serve as an expediter and help with quality control during all stages of projects. She will also work to provide an easy transition between preconstruction and construction phases and be responsible for specified logistics during each stage.

ActionCOACH of Elm Grove has added Jackie Zach as a business coach. Zach has a decade of experience serving in management roles in a Fortune 100 company. For the past six years, she has owned a retail store in Brookfield.

United P&H Supply Co., based in Milwaukee, recently promoted Chip Roska to chief executive officer. Roska, previously president and general manager, will now focus on business development and sales. The company also promoted Richard Chojnacki to president and general manager. Chojnacki previously served as vice president of operations and assistant general manager. In his elevated role, he will oversee administration, information technology, inventory management, purchasing and warehouse operations. Roska has worked for United P&H for 37 years, and Chojnacki has been with the company for 15 years.

Education

Concordia University Wisconsin, based in Mequon, has promoted Sarah Holtan, Ph.D., to vice president of student life. Holtan previously served the university as dean of students. She has worked for CUW since 2001 in various positions and departments, including a teaching position in the communication department. Holtan succeeds Andrew Luptak, Ph.D., who retired at the end of June after close to 50 years at CUW. Her areas of focus will include athletics and residence life.

Alverno College, located in Milwaukee, recently promoted Angela Frey to a professor of biology, Lois Kailhofer to a professor of mathematics, James Factor to an associate professor of mathematics, Heather Mernitz to an associate professor of physical sciences, and Michelle Venn to an associate professor of nursing.

Engineering

Milwaukee-based GRAEF recently named Curt Hoffmann and Andre Ost associates. Hoffmann has worked for GRAEF for more than nine years and is an architect for the Milwaukee office’s Facilities Group. Ost has worked for the firm for more than eight years and is a transportation engineer for the Milwaukee office’s Transportation Group.

Health & Wellness

ProHealth Care has welcomed Dr. Veronica Makhija to its clinics in Hartland, Pewaukee and Waukesha. Makhija focuses on all mental health conditions and has a special interest in depression, anxiety disorders, women’s mental health issues and mental illness in young adults. Makhija completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and was a resident at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She is board certified in psychiatry.

Elite Sports Clubs, headquartered in Brookfield, hired Shae McNamara as a performance and wellness coach. McNamara is a former collegiate and professional athlete. He played NCAA basketball for Marist College in New York before joining Collingwood Football Club in Australia for three years. He is also a certified life coach trained by the International Coaching Federation. At Elite Sports Clubs, he will advise kids and adults on moving past life challenges. He will also assist clients with personal and professional performance, life balance, body image, diet, self-confidence issues and sports training. McNamara will work with both members and non-members at all Elite Sports Club locations.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Ted Lorenzi has been appointed vice president of engineering and sustainability at Marcus Hotels & Resorts, which is a division of Milwaukee-based The Marcus Corp. Lorenzi has more than 30 years of hospitality experience in operational planning and corporate facility management. He most recently was senior director, engineering design and operations, for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in Minneapolis. In his new position, he will focus on the development, advancement and rollout of engineering, environmental and energy management strategies at Marcus Hotels & Resorts properties. He will also be responsible for facilitating sustainability programs.

Interior Design

New Berlin-based Schroeder Solutions has added Angela Harris to its account management team. Harris is an interior designer and has more than eight years of residential and commercial sales experience.

Marketing

Catch-22 Creative, located in Racine, has named Nikki Wagner a partner. Wagner has been the marketing communications agency’s account manager for the past nine years.

Nonprofit

Legacy Redevelopment Corp., of Milwaukee, has added Evan Reed as community lender and Jenny Weber as economic development and advancement specialist. Reed previously served as a special asset officer at Seaway Bank, where he focused on relationship management. Weber has more than seven years of experience in nonprofit development and marketing. She is currently working toward a Master’s degree in urban studies at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The American Diabetes Association-Wisconsin, of Brookfield, has added Gustavo Cueto to its leadership board. Cueto is an assistant director in the agencies department of The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. His areas of expertise include business administration, insurance and financial planning as well as securities and advisory products, services and laws.

BizStarts Milwaukee has appointed Jacquin Davidson entrepreneur director. Davidson is a native of Wisconsin but has spent much of her career in southern California as a business owner, advertising executive, private banking officer and nonprofit board leader. In her new role at BizStarts Milwaukee, she will oversee the organization’s new BizForge Resource Hub.

Burton & Mayer Inc., of Menomonee Falls, has named Paul Bertling director of marketing and creative services. Bertling has more than 20 years of experience in the marketing industry. His career has included executive leadership of an advertising agency as well as leadership of marketing on the client side. At Burton & Mayer, he will be responsible for internal marketing initiatives and will also work with the sales team to both expand marketing services to current clients and form new marketing relationships.

Real Estate

Wangard Partners Inc. has expanded its staff in Wauwatosa with the addition of Chad Venne, executive vice president of property management, and Dorothy Snow, director of marketing. Venne has more than 10 years of experience in property management. At Wangard Partners, he will oversee all aspects of property management within the company’s existing portfolio and within future developments. Snow has more than 17 years of experience and expertise in professional services branding, communications and marketing.

Sports Management

Lammi Sports Management, of Milwaukee, has added Rebecca Cameron Valcq as general counsel. Prior to joining Lammi Sports Management, Cameron Valcq served as regulatory counsel at We Energies. She is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Association for Corporate General Counsel, and also serves on several boards of area organizations.

Staffing

Brookfield-based Cielo, formerly Pinstripe & Ochre House, recently promoted Juliana Barela to vice president of client service delivery in North America and promoted Anne Bucher to senior vice president of North America operations and global customer experience. Both are members of the company’s North America operating board. Cielo has also expanded the role of Ellen Chiesa, director of human resources. Chiesa is joining Cielo’s North America operating board and representing people initiatives in North America. Additionally, the company has appointed Staci Roberts senior vice president of business development for its health care division and named her a member of the North America operating board.
