Milwaukee-based Thirsty Boy has added Jason Reimer as creative director. Reimer’s marketing career has included positions at Layer One and Hanson Dodge Creative, as well as freelance roles. Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. has appointed Rebekah Barsch executive officer, vice president, planning and sales, and David Stoeffel executive officer, vice president, investment services. Stoeffel is also now serving as president of Northwestern Mutual Investment Services LLC. Barsch has worked for Northwestern Mutual since 1994, and Stoeffel joined the Milwaukee-based firm in 2007.

Waterstone Mortgage, headquartered in Pewaukee, has named Kevin Gillespie chief operating officer at its corporate office. Gillespie has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Throughout his career, he has served as a loan originator, branch manager, regional manager, and president and chief operating officer. At Waterstone Mortgage he will run the loan operations, sales, secondary marketing and talent acquisition departments. He will also help the company’s executive team continue growing the company and develop strategies to maximize its success.

VJS Construction Services, located in Pewaukee, has added Matt McNulty as a project manager. Prior to starting at VJS, McNulty was a project manager for a construction management firm focused on capital improvement projects for O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.

Distribution

Remy Battery Co. Inc., headquartered in Milwaukee, has added Ian Coxworth as business development manager, special markets. He will oversee the company’s new government, transportation and special markets division. Coxworth will work to develop new markets for the battery distributor.

Engineering

Andrew Brauer has joined Arnold & O’Sheridan, of Brookfield, as a structural engineer. Brauer has about 10 years of engineering experience and has worked on higher education facilities, corporate offices, replacement hospitals, and hospital additions and remodels.

Environmental

Prolitec Inc., headquartered in Milwaukee, has named Merilly Hessburg vice president, global customer care, for its AirQ ambient scenting and indoor air quality services. Hessburg has more than 15 years of experience in customer service, technical training, business development and business unit management. She most recently served as a director and general manager at Despatch Industries, a subsidiary of ITW. At Prolitec, she will oversee the team that maintains customer satisfaction for more than 50,000 installations worldwide.

Health Care

Columbia St. Mary’s, located in Milwaukee, has added cardiologist Dr. Noa Holoshitz to its cardiovascular specialists group. Holoshitz is board certified in interventional cardiology and echo-cardiography and also specializes in heart disease in women and heart disease prevention.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of Milwaukee-based The Marcus Corp., has named Kevin Karau general manager of Timber Ridge Lodge & Water Park in Lake Geneva. Karau has worked for Marcus Hotels & Resorts since 2013, when he became director of operations for the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. Additionally, Marcus Hotels & Resorts and MCS Capital LLC have appointed Thomas Riley senior vice president, development. Riley has 22 years of experience in the lodging industry and most recently served Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants as vice president, acquisitions and development, for eight years.

Legal Services

Milwaukee-based Hupy and Abraham, S.C. has promoted Jennifer Canavan to director of operations. Canavan joined the firm in 2004 as a legal assistant and most recently served as training and development director. In her new role, she will collaborate with team leaders to develop and advocate best practices, effective communication and consistent systems. She will also continue seeking ways to promote quality client service through training and optimization of employee talents.

Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s Milwaukee office has added Michael Rossmiller as a patent engineer in its Intellectual Property Practice Group. Rossmiller earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and a certificate for biology in engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013.

C.H. Coakley & Co., Inc., of Milwaukee, has named Scott Carpenter an executive vice president. Carpenter will be responsible for developing and overseeing the Third Party Logistics division of the company.

Manufacturing

Oconomowoc-based ORBIS Corp. has expanded its executive leadership team with the promotion of Tim Henkel to president of its Reusable Packaging Management services. Henkel has worked for ORBIS for 27 years, most recently as executive vice president of sales. The company has promoted Dan Roovers to take over that position. Roovers has more than 20 years of experience in the auto industry and previously served as vice president of automotive sales.

Media

Entercom Communications has appointed Chuck Sullivan vice president and market manager for its Milwaukee cluster. Prior to joining the Milwaukee market, Sullivan was vice president and market manager for Cumulus in Mobile, Ala. In Milwaukee, he will manage the three Entercom stations in Milwaukee (FM 99.1 WMYX, FM 103.7 WXSS and AM 1250 WSSP) and lead Entercom’s digital initiatives in the region.

Nonprofit

Layton Boulevard West Neighbors has added Kate Wolf as home improvement coordinator for the Silver City, Burnham Park, Layton Park, and Clarke Square neighborhoods. Wolf previously worked for ACTS Housing, where she assisted families in purchasing and updating city- and bank-owned homes. At LBWN, she will help neighborhood residents complete basic home repairs, make energy efficient home improvements, enhance community blocks, address code requirements and maintain property insurance coverage.

Retail

Accessible Wear, located in West Allis, has named Yvonne-Marie Lewandowski director of business development. In her new role, Lewandowski will work to grow the retailer’s customer base, spread awareness of its adaptive clothing and accessories, and forge relationships with organizations that help individuals facing ability challenges.

Verlo Mattress Factory Stores, owned by Marcus Investments LLC, has named Josh Quinn national account executive and director of public relations. Quinn will work out of the company’s corporate offices in Milwaukee. He has more than 15 years of experience in broadcast journalism and public relations.

Technology

Corporate Technology Solutions, of Milwaukee, has hired Neetu Katiyar as a software engineer consultant. Katiyar previously was an application developer for IBM in India. In her new role, she will help CTS clients develop software solutions.

Milwaukee-based 7Summits has added Joseph Durrett to its board of directors. Durrett is the former CEO of Broderbund Software and former CEO and chairman of IRI. Durrett is the fourth board member for the social business solutions provider.

Utilities

Pewaukee-based American Transmission Co. has promoted Randy Satterfield to executive vice president of strategic planning and project development. Satterfield joined American Transmission Co. in 2003 and since has served in several leadership roles.
