Dave Langemak was recently appointed to lead the Elkhart Lake location of Community Bank and Trust. He has over 15 years of banking industry experience and is also the president of the Plymouth location.

Building & Construction

Doug Mortenson, recently joined Mortenson Construction’s Brookfield office as safety director. Mortenson has an extensive history of working in several similar safety roles, and most recently served as the global environmental health and safety program coordinator for Kohler Company in Kohler.

Triad Construction, Milwaukee, recently announced the addition of Alba Santana as receptionist to its office staff. She recently relocated from Florida where she worked in progressive receptionist positions for four years in the hospitality industry.

Chambers of Commerce and Visitors Bureaus

The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce recently named Tom Krumenacher, patent attorney at Ryan, Kromholz & Manion, S.C., Brookfield, chairman of the chamber’s board of directors.

Design

Stephanie Seeby has been promoted to creative director at DSI Design, Glendale.  She brings experience in graphic we web design to the position.

Engineering

K. Singh & Associates, Inc., Elm Grove, recently announced the promotions of Muhammad Adil to project engineer and Justin Berrens to project geologist. Tung Doan was also added to the firm as a staff structural engineer.

Government

The Milwaukee County Department of Transportation and Public Works recently announced the appointment of Stevan Keith to the position of sustainability and environmental engineer in the architecture, engineering and environmental services division of the DTPW. Keith has been serving as the acting director of environmental services since July of 2007.

Health Care

Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation in Oconomowoc recently announced that Nicholas Bauer, senior consultant of the Health Care Group at MBO Cleary Advisors, Inc., Milwaukee, has been elected to the foundation’s board of directors. In addition, four of the foundation’s current board members have been elected to the executive committee: Don Becker of DBA Marketing Communications, Delafield, has assumed the position of chairman; Michael Hargarten of Northwestern Mutual, Milwaukee, joined the committee as vice chairman, Calvin Schmidt of Northwestern Mutual, Milwaukee, joined as treasurer, and Christine Toson Hentges of Tribute, Inc., as secretary.

Butler-based MRPC, a single-source provider of medical device components and assemblies, has added Mike Dalton as director of quality, and Dave Knudtson as senior engineer.

Jeannie Hefty was recently appointed to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Aurora Visiting Nurses Association of Wisconsin. Hefty was elected as the first woman mayor of the City of Burlington in 1992 and before that served on the Common Council.

Dr. Paul Hankwitz, was recently appointed associate professor of medicine in the division of geriatrics at The Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. Hankwitz has been teaching at the Medical College since 1977, when he was appointed instructor of medicine and associate chief of service in internal medicine. He has also been a member of the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital since 2004. 

Cataract surgeon, Dr. Wanda Martinez, was recently appointed assistant professor of ophthalmology at The Medical College of Wisconsin and to the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa. 

ProHealth Care Medical Associates, Waukesha, recently welcomed three new primary care physicians. Family Medicine physician Dr. Dale Johnson offers his medical services at the ProHealth Care Medical Associates Summit Drive location in Oconomowoc.

Dr. Edward Frost, is board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics.  He sees children and adults at the ProHealth Care Medical Associates Watertown location, and Internist

Dr. Mark Schaten, is the newest primary care provider at the ProHealth Care Medical Associates Corporate Center Drive location in Oconomowoc. 

Hospitality & Entertainment

Big Foot Country Club, Fontana, recently appointed Philip Lane as the new clubhouse manager. Mr. Lane has gained a great reputation in hospitality industry management at four and five diamond properties throughout the United States. He has held senior management positions within catering, event management and conference services at hotels and resorts throughout Wisconsin.

Apple Holler, Sturtevant, recently hired Heather Clayton as its new entertainment director. She has a degree in elementary education and has had extensive vocal, instrumental and theater training.

Interior Design

Forrer Business Interiors, Inc., Milwaukee, recently announced the addition of Bernadette Xiong as account manager to the firm. She has more than 10 years of professional sales experience, most recently with Runzheimer International, Waterford. 

Landscaping & Maintenance

Heather Schuster of Terra-Firma Landscaping Inc., Muskego, recently won the Wisconsin Green Industry Federation’s 2009 distinguished service award for her efforts in promoting the green industry in Wisconsin.

Legal Services

Godfrey & Kahn recently added Daniel J. Finerty to the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the firm’s Milwaukee office. He will continue to practice labor and employment law with a focus on employment litigation and restrictive covenant litigation.

John Shore recently joined the Brookfield office of the law firm of Davis & Kuelthau S.C. He practices in the areas of business, real estate, and estate planning law. 

Nathan DeBaun recently joined The Schroeder Group, S.C. Attorneys at Law, Waukesha. DeBaun has three years of experience providing counsel in the corporate and intellectual property areas of law. 

Manufacturing

Amerequip Corporation, Mequon, recently announced the following promotions: Michael Festge has been promoted to chairman and chief executive officer, and Michael Vander Zanden has been promoted to president and chief operating officer. Vander Zanden has also joined Festge and Charles Hoke as a member of the Amerequip Corporation Board of Directors.
