Kolb+Co. S.C., Brookfield, recently hired Amy Penoske as an administrative associate.  Penoske is currently attending Milwaukee Area Technical College where she will receive an administrative assistant degree. 

Ritz, Holman, Butala, Fine LLP, Milwaukee, recently announced that Tricia Knight, CPA, partner and member of the firm’s tax team, has been awarded the 2008 WICPA Public Service Award in recognition for her public service work at the local, regional and state levels.

Sales Progress LLC, Mequon, recently appointed Scott Gengler to sales director. Previously, Gengler served corporate and medical clients as a sales consultant.

Bader Rutter & Associates, Brookfield, has promoted two associates to vice president. Mike Fredrick has been promoted to vice president, and associate creative director in the agency’s creative group; and Tom Posta has been promoted to vice president, and group leader in the agency’s account management group.

Architecture

Eppstein Uhen Architects recently hired Paul Stefanski as a project architect, Peter Nagel as an architectural intern and Janel Branda as a graphics and visualization coordinator in their Milwaukee office.

Banking & Finance

Ryan Stelzer of Peoples Bank Investment Center, and Jessica Berge, a Peoples Bank marketing officer, have been elected to serve on the volunteer-based advisory board of The Elkhorn Fund. The Elkhorn Fund is a locally directed endowment fund designed to fund community projects in Elkhorn that need help and often have little in terms of official government grants or outside support.

Community Bank & Trust promoted Eric Hesselink to commercial lending officer at the Sheboygan Falls location. Hesselink has been with Community Bank & Trust for two years and has more than eight years of experience in the banking industry. His most recent role was a credit analyst. 

Integrated Financial Solutions LLC, Delafield, added four individuals to its  current financial planning firm. Mark  Ziety has been hired as a financial services assistant, Steve Barnekow as case manager, Kristoper Sharpe has joined the wealth management department and Chanelle Pergande has been hired as a part-time receptionist and  administrative assistant.

M&I Wealth Management, Milwaukee, recently promoted Catherine Principe to senior vice president. Principe serves as private banking manager for southeastern Wisconsin and has over 25 years of experience. She is a member of the National American Business Women’s Association and a board member of the Florentine Opera. M&I Bank, Milwaukee, has also announced the promotion of David Doran, and Gina Zielinski to vice presidents. Zielinski serves as a training delivery manager in M&I’s human resources/M&I University-talent development department. She has been with M&I since 1980. Doran has been with M&I since 2002.

Park Bank has added Joyce Baldock as vice president of commercial banking at its Brookfield office. Baldock brings a well- rounded commercial banking background to Park Bank, having worked previously in business development, branch management and operations. 

Building and Construction

Titan Building Co., New Berlin, announced that Tom Halat was hired as vice president of business development. Halat has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry.

Gilbane Building Company, Providence, R.I., recently hired Lucas Richmond as a part of an expansion to the company’s virtual construction department in Milwaukee. Prior to his employment with Gilbane, Richmond worked as a 3D modeler for Building Services Inc. in Milwaukee.

Design

John Welsh has joined Letterhead Press, Inc. (LPI), New Berlin, as sales executive. Welsh founded and operated Welsh Bindery, New Berlin, over the past 32 years. Recently, LPI acquired selected assets of Welsh Bindery, and hired several key employees.

Engineering

Kevin Halpin, recently joined Key Engineering Group, Ltd./Key Railroad Development LLC, Milwaukee, as an associate vice president for the Bridge and Industrial Division. Halpin has an extensive railroad bridge inspection and engineering background of more than 20 years and has worked throughout the country on bridge inspections, construction, and engineering designs.

Health Care

Bridget Clementi has been named executive director of Children’s Health Education Center, Milwaukee. Clementi joined the center in 2000 to work with the organization’s injury prevention team. During her tenure, she established prevention programs, and local car-seat clinics, where parents and caregivers can learn how to properly secure their children in motor vehicles.

Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, recently added four doctors to its medical staff. The doctors and their specialties include: Dr. Marsha Davis, internal medicine at Advanced Care Clinic in Mequon; Dr.

Mohammad Mortada, electrophysiology at Comprehensive Cardiovascular Care, Brown Deer; Dr. Aaron Holtebeck, ophthalmology at Verre Young Eye Clinic, Milwaukee; and Dr. Kiran Padala, hospitalist at Columbia St. Mary’s, Brookfield. 

Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group, Glendale, recently added six new physicians to its area staff. Dr. Chidinmna Arole, obstetrician/gynecologist, was added to the Oak Creek/Franklin offices;  Dr. Kirstin Certalic, family medicine, joined the offices near 76th Street and Rawson Avenue in Franklin;

Dr. Karen Watson, board certified in obstetrics/gynecology, now practices at the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-Wauwatosa office; Dr. Tom Murphy, a rheumatologist with Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group, and Dr. Margot Vlodka, electrophysiologist, were added to the staff at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints Campus, Racine; and

Dr. Jeff Baranek was added to the Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group-Heart and Vascular Physicians staff. Dr. Baranek will be collaborating with Dr. Timothy Vellinga at the Medical Arts Pavilion, Milwaukee. 

Legal Services

Quarles & Brady LLP announced that attorneys John Barry, Jennifer Clements, Terri Flynn, Patricia Hutter, Raymond Jamieson, Peter Pinnow, and Sean Scullen have been promoted to partner at the firm’s Milwaukee office.

Von Briesen & Roper, S.C., Milwaukee, recently announced the addition of shareholders Claire Resop, Christopher Stroebel and associate Eliza Reyes to the firm’s banking, bankruptcy, business restructuring and real estate practice group. All will join Von Briesen’s Madison office.

Management Services

Pat Camp joins Association Acumen, LLC, Milwaukee, as association specialist and executive assistant to the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies. Camp previously worked with the Alzheimer’s Association in Minnesota-North Dakota as executive assistant and board liaison. She has experience in both corporate and nonprofit business management. 

Professional Organizations

WasteCap Wisconsin, Milwaukee, recently announced that its past executive director Jenna Kunde will take over the position again once Susan Buchanan, current executive director, resigns. Kunde has been with WasteCap Wisconsin since the organization’s conception in 1996, and previously served as executive director for five years. WasteCap Wisconsin is a nonprofit industry-supported organization dedicated to providing waste reduction and recycling assistance for the benefit of business and the environment.

Sports Management

Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club announced that Alvaro Garcia-Velez has been named executive director. Previously, Garcia-Velez was president of Notre Dame Middle School in Milwaukee. He is a graduate of Marquette University as well as a longtime community volunteer. The Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 1968 and is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. 

Staffing

QPS Companies, Inc., Brookfield, has promoted two members of its internal staff. The Milwaukee branch recently promoted Rutmary Canas to lead placement coordinator, and Ada Aguila to data entry supervisor. The Milwaukee branch also added Adam Kneeland and Paul Basquez as placement coordinators to its staff.

Pinstripe, Inc., Brookfield, recently added Gordon Warner to its Healthcare Group as client services director. Warner brings extensive HR experience and expertise to Pinstripe’s growing health care field. He comes to Pinstripe from M&I Bank in Milwaukee, where he served as vice president of human resources for nine years. Warner is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, and the Human Resources Management Association of Southeast Wisconsin.

Elite Human Capital Group of Brookfield, has made three new additions to its staff. The additions include: Shari Laue as senior recruitment specialist, Saree Anderson as human resource coordinator, and Linda Docter-Sullivan as controller.

Technology

Bryan Nelson joined Ascedia, Milwaukee, as an application developer. Nelson has more than seven years in web development experience in the advertising industry. Nelson holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

IDL Solutions, Germantown, has added Ryan Anklam as an application developer. Anklam has over nine years of experience in application design and web technologies, and holds several Microsoft certifications.

Karl Shea and Adrianne Bockhorst have been added to the staff at Mathematic Arts in Milwaukee. Shea has been named web developer for the company, his previous experience includes network administration and web development, and on site network support. Bockhorst was named project manager for mathematic arts. She has years of experience in the field, working as both a designer and developer. Most recently, Bockhorst was interactive marketing specialist, specializing in e-mail marketing and database management. Mathematic Arts is a web design and development company.
