Pearls nonprofit needs voters to win $250,000

Pearls for Teen Girls, Inc. has a chance to win $250,000 with the help of voters in support of its mission. The Milwaukee nonprofit has been selected out of thousands of charity organizations nationwide to take part in the National 2012 Chase Community Giving Program. The program awards grants to deserving nonprofits from a pot of $5 million. Grants are distributed according to individual votes.

“This nomination is exciting for our organization and a great opportunity to be recognized on a national level,” said Danae Davis, CEO of Pearls. “We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in the program and look forward to continued support from the community to help us further our mission.”  
Voting is currently open and ends Sept. 19. To vote, visit www.chasegiving.com.
Chase will announce the winning organization on Sept. 20 on the Chase Community Giving Facebook page and on chasegiving.com. Nominated organizations have an opportunity to win the grand prize of $250,000 as well as increments of $100,000; $50,000; $20,000; and $10,000. Chase will award grants to 152 nonprofit causes.
