The decision was announced by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Paul Davis National chief executive officer Dan Druml at the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) 150th birthday celebration at Miller Park last week.

“I want to congratulate Dan and thank him for his decision to locate his company’s headquarters and training facility in Milwaukee,” Walker said. “Entrepreneurs and small businesses like Dan’s will help drive our recovery, and if we can work together to help them succeed, we will see our economy add more jobs.”

Paul Davis Restoration is a series of local franchises owned by The Franchise Company out of Toronto, Canada.  Paul Davis provides insurance and disaster recovery services, including construction, restoration and stabilization, data and record recovery and equipment restoration.

The new national entity, with investors from local franchises, will be able to scale up for major catastrophes, using local operations and know how and adding the advantages of national scale, experience and manpower to provide one source solutions in response to major events.

The Milwaukee 7 regional economic development entity worked closely with the company and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to present a viable and attractive pitch for the location of the business in the Milwaukee region. While the company considered other cities including Houston, Omaha and Indianapolis for its national headquarters and training facility, Milwaukee won out.
