Patient Care announces new management roles

Milwaukee-based Patient Care, a health care advocacy and transparency company, announced changes in its senior management structure.

 
Emily Penner, who previously served as Patient Care’s Vice President of Marketing and Communication, has been named Chief Operating Officer. 

“With over 19 years of experience in the benefits and insurance industry, and seven plus years at Patient Care, Emily has been instrumental in the success of the Company,” said Jane Cooper, Patient Care’s president and CEO.

In addition to her responsibility for client account management and all internal and external communications, Penner will now oversee operations for Patient Care’s Advocacy and Transparency call center. 

Clara Chavez, Patient Care’s former Vice President of Advocacy and Transparency, is the company’s new Vice President of Member Experience.

“The new COO and VP of Member Experience roles will allow Patient Care’s internal operations to function more seamlessly. I’m confident in Emily and Clara’s abilities to support the major growth that Patient Care is experiencing in the marketplace,” Cooper stated.
